i've never seen anything like this in the NFL...in college it happens all the time....this is crazy

trotter shoudlnt be ejected because instead of throwing a punch he just grabbed and pulled at MAthis facemask.

yea he miseed and eneded up with the face mask, this makes the game better for the falcons, they have to protect the house, there jacked up, and with trotter gone, dunn and ducket are going to be running all day long.

Yes I know that....but it is still amusing in pre-game warmups.

Actually it was a point of emphasis in high school and college basketball for officials.

Teams would do a warm-up lap around the outside of the court, start lay-up lines in the back court, or go to the center circle during player introductions all to mess with the other team.

A lot of problems later in the game, can begin by stupid crap that happens during the warm ups.

So Atl traded a Kevin Mathis ejection for a Trotter ejection? That's the best deal of the season. Mathis is a questionable starter at best whereas Trotter is the heart-and-soul of Philly's run D.

Nice NHL move by the Falcons IMO.
