Been told by a few teams the #Seahawks had open ears at the #NFLCombine. Seattle trade commodities drawing interest: defensive tackle Michael Bennett and safety Earl Thomas. Nothing imminent. But hearing Seattle would like to remedy having zero draft picks in 2nd and 3rd round.

If their public asking price right now is a 2nd or 3rd, it will be lower as the draft approaches. He would be a great addition (obviously) but there is enough of a chance of him being cut in a cap move that Dallas shouldn't overpay.

We've already been talking about this, where have you been? lol, and I say this is a no brainer move for the front office to make if we're serious about playing for a super bowl.. We'd get more out of Earl in 1 year than we'd get with Martellus Bennett/Gavin Escobar/Bruce Carter/Taco/Jaylon combined! We haven't had a legit star back there since Woodson, Roy was good at 1 thing...

I'd have no problem at all giving them a 3rd, Earl and Lee on the field at the same time, with Lawrence and Irving rushing the passer... Goodness, please please please let this happen

My only fear with this is............ he's going to be 29 and a recent injury history. I think sometimes people think you are getting the Thomas of 5 years and you would not.

This is where a guy like Scandrick can come in handy if SEA is serious about moving on from Sherman, too. They're going to be drafting DBs here as they churn things, and getting a capable vet who can play inside and out while they get everybody up to speed could be worth something. So say, Scandrick, a 3rd and a 5th for Thomas. Something like that.
