Seahawk fans think they will put up 30+

If I remember right, the Hawk starters in preseason moved the ball VERY well against our starters. I know Parcells and co. were not showcasing anything, but still.... That should give the Hawks plenty of confidence going into this game. I hope Julius is ok, he was a monster against them last year. :)

Wouldn't surprise me to see another high scoring game, reminescent of last years game.

I think the argument can be made that our defense is already better than it was at the start of the year, and therefore likely better than it was during the preseason.

The Seahawks won't have either of their starting wide receivers this time. And if you recall, we stayed in our 3-4 against their three-wide offense because we needed to practice it. We still do that occasionally, but for the most part, we go to nickel now.

One thinf that I noticed while "attempting" to watch the Texans game was that they were committing a lot of penalties that they got away with. That won't happen against a good team or defense, like we think the Cowboys are. It seemed like it would be 1st and 20 or 2nd and 15 every other set of downs... of course they converted against the Texans somehow... it was like a running joke as I was watching.

Anyway, I think the boys have a good chance if they can contain Alexander, which they have done pretty well the last few times out. The Seahawks seem to like to work the middle of the field with Engram and Stevens, so it will be a big test for the safeties and backers in zone coverage.

Sounds exactly like the Giants fans last week.

Wonder what they are saying now?

True but we also thought we were going to put 30 because we had this new revived offensive philosophy.

Honestly, anything could happen. Welcome to today's NFL where randomness rules. It's going to fun to watch.

The most significant difference now of course is Ferguson is playing.

I don't think we are "superior" to anyone in any category at this point. The Jags have 2 of the best DT in the game, and have very good run D. The skins are just tough to play (see 14-13 loss). We seem to game plan pretty well for the big time RBs, so let's see how this will play out. We need to contain the run and the CBs need to play up to their ability.

I feel pretty confident about our defense although the Seattle offensive line is excellent and Alexander is having an all-Pro season. I really worry about our offense with Adams out. I hope Tucker can hold his own. The Seattle defense isn't overwhelming. I think we can win a low-scoring game if we bring our A-game.

I feel the same way about this game as I did before going into the Giants game last week. We have a better defense and should win this game if we stay focused. Our offense is about the same but in two different respects. They have injuries at the wr spot and we have one in the run game but here lately our passing game is really coming up. Look for Big D to win the game.
