Seahawks broadcaster took a shot at Dak during their preseason game

While watching I was thinking how this may have been the worst and most unprofessional broadcasting crew I have ever heard.
It was Michael Robinson & Michael Bennett, both former Seahawks. They are far from a "professional" broadcasting crew. Robinson has always tried to get by with the "too cool for school" persona. Not sure how Bennett convinced anyone to let him on air.

That crew proved not just anyone can call an NFL game broadcast. Just so rough around the edges. It was like listening to a high school presentation.

I had the good fortune of watching the game being called by Bill Jones and Isaiah Stanback. A good friend, who is also a Cowboys fan, watched the NFL Network broadcast with the Seattle broadcast team. He heard it too.

They can and did make the remark, but they could have kept to criticizing how the Seahawks second, third, and fourth string players were performing. I mean, that is THEIR team. Whether anyone would have appreciated it or not, Jones and Stanback could have made the observation instead. It would have made more sense for them to fill their COWBOYS airtime with a Dallas-related comment.

I wish my curiosity were stronger on the topic. If it were, I would scope out their call of the Titans game. Surely, they can quip about something related to Tennessee's postseason difficulties too. Right?
Yes but we are spoiled here. Bill Jones been doing this a long time and knows his stuff. He would never make a huge mistake like saying Demarco Murray played with Dak. Even from someone on Seattle.

When I first saw Robinson on the NFL network a few years ago. I thought they were just interviewing him on a topic. No way could this guy be a regular on any broadcast. He is still the same mumble mouth as he was then.

I thought it was Michael Bennett on the mic and it was his brother Martellus that was the former Cowboy.
You are correct sir. Michael Bennett works as a color analyst for the Seahawks local television preseason broadcast crew.

His brother Martellus was drafted by the Cowboys in the 2nd round of the 2008 NFL draft.

Michael Bennett also played for the Cowboys.Traded to the 'boys in 2019 he played in nine games.

Both have rings...

Other than the DeMarco Murray bit...no lies detected.

In fact, that's even more damning. He played with Zeke...who is a whole level above Murray (respectfully). So while his comments were technically inaccurate, in substance it was WHOLLY ACCURATE that Dak has had more opportunities to win than he deserves and he needs to "get 'er done".

Is this really "a shot"? I mean, I'm sure Dak himself wholeheartedly agrees.

Well it’s true! We’re all waiting for him to show up in big games. Every time they make the playoffs I’m hoping things change but nope. He gets that apple in his throat and gags. As far as Demarco yeah they missed on that but he had prime Zeke for a few years.

I hate when announcers are awful on the facts.

That said, it is time for Dak to start playing better in playoff games. Whether or not they win is up to the whole team, but his performances definitely need to improve.
