Yep..it's a serious question. Why wouldn't it be? I'm just making conversation here..geez, and besides all that, people do have differences of opinions that's what makes this a "forum" to be able to have discussions..isn't it? It a big reason why I read more than I post because you always have a few that are going to make you feel "dumb" for asking something..anyways, my thoughts were focused on the fact that we have beaten the Seahawks already this year and was wondering how others felt about who they would want to see next week if we win tomorrow....going back under my rock now.

I'd rather play Carolina. I don't like the idea of going to hell and having to win again. I think the odds are against us.

Besides, Carolina would have to play @ Dallas.

Don't worry about stuff it's a good question. While I don't care who we play a small part of me wants Romo to beat the defending champs twice at their home in route to a Super Bowl ring.

If the Panthers win it'll be because Wilson can't throw. Wouldn't matter the winner of our game would destroy them.

I can see a close game in seattle today in the first half, but the Hawks win by 14+ in the end...the road trip goes to green bay, seattle, and then Arizona....

The more I think about it the more I want to see us beating the best. If we have to march through Seattle, after GB, so be it.

I want Carolina to win, but man, Cam Newton is awful. I can't see it.

If he can not make mistakes which is going to be hard for him against a D like Seattle then I think they will take it

The game earlier this year the Seahawks only won by 3....
Right. The Seahawks went into Carolina during Seattle's worst stretch of the season, turned it over twice in the red zone...and still won by three. Obviously, it's not impossible that Carolina could pull off the upset, but to "think" they will is just wishful thinking.

I hope they will, but how in the world could you think they will?

Did anyone think the Bucs could beat the Steelers? Who thought the Pigskins would beat Philthy? Anyone predict the Rams beating the Broncos?

There's always a chance.

Of course there's a chance. Upsets are more common than most people think. I didn't say it can't happen, only that there's no good reason to think it's the likely outcome.

Don't take it to heart. Some people post on the Internet forgetting that they are interacting with real people. There's no way people would be so extreme and rude in real life.

This matchup is about which defense comes to play. Neither offense is a juggernaut. Of course the advantage goes to Seattle at home, but if Carolina gets past their 12th man and crowd noise schtick, look out!

Carolina is the correct answer, unless you have the "gotta beat the best" attitude. Seattle is better in every way.

Is this a real question? For the NFC championship game, would you rather get a home game against the Panthers or travel up to Seattle? This is a no brainer.

I think Carolina's defense can keep it close but Cam won't be able to make enough plays to win this on the road in Seattle. This isn't Arizona at home against a 3rd or 4th string QB and an overrated defense.

The 12th man was crying. Something unthinkable happened. Something horrific.

They were beaten in their own house.

In the aftermath of it all, Orlando Scandrick found Earl Thomas. Aside from the usual post-game banter and congratulations, Orlando did something unique. He made a promise.

"I promise we'll see you again this season"

I have a feeling that promise will be kept.
