This is going to be a starting point for Dallas and Murray IMO.

I knew paying Murray 20 million was too cheap. 30 million is more on point but for 4 years is a little too steep.

After signing Lynch and Wilson the Seahawks will be a different team and the demise begins. There strength is their defense and will out any more money and cap space keeping their defensive players will be tough.

Yes, it's much easier fielding a team with quality depth at all positions when your starting QB is making $300K a year.

Maybe they realized hes infinitely more important to that offense than their qb...no matter who it is...plenty of game managers out there.

Maybe they just want him motivated to win the Super Bowl. It's an odd time for a contract offer.

It's a Jerry move. It will be announced at half time that Dez is now the highest paid WR in the NFL:D

They can't pay that guy that much and Wilson as much as he's gonna demand and not fall off a damn cliff within the next couple of years.

Don't know the particulars but recall something to the effect that they have many of their defensive players signed up for the next 4 years.

He's gone over 1200 yards and has been most of their offense for 4 years now. Completely different from murrays 4 years

Yea, I hope no one offers Murray $10 million a year, because that is something we should not come close to, but it does show how unrealistic the 4 year 16 million everyone wanted to offer him after the season was.

I don't give a crap about Seattle and their contracts. Or Lynch being an arse to the media, or if Sherman goes on a verbal tirade.
It has nothing to do with us. If they want to overpay their RB & QB, then that means some talented defensive players hit the market.

Good for us then. It does not affect what we do. If that means Murray's price goes up, then I am fine with a high draft pick, Randle & Williams.

Just heard the news. This is a lot more reason to believe the Cowboys aren't re-signing Murray. LOL not at that price! Come on, man!

Seattle is in a tough position. He's the heart of the team. But his style doesn't meld with longevity too well. He will fall off a cliff sooner than later.

Anyone hating on Lynch really needs to watch him on Conan with Gronk. Just YouTube "Marshawn Lynch Conan" and you'll see it. The dude has a huge personality and isn't afraid to talk it up with other outlets it's just the NFL media really.

If Dez had already played a central role in the cowboys winning one SB and having got to a second one in back to back years, I would have no problem with it

Not sure that resets any market, when we don't know the full value of the contract... could be completely frontloaded...

And that's most likely. Still it is 10M which is roughly 7ish% of their annual output this year. If all got the same salary it would be about 1.9% so that's significant. He's worth it if he's healthy and stays that way. He's 28 and has played 8 years. He has over 2033 carries. Emmitt had 4400 but most RBs aren't like Smith.
