Seahawks thread

I hope Collins gets a chance to throw Wagner into the first row of the bleachers again.

More than enough. Key to game on offense should be to pound Zeke directly behind Bell to soften up that DE. Maybe add a combo blocking with Bell and Hanna. That's how I'd do it.
The Seahawks only chance of victory in Dallas is to load up the box and force Prescott to beat them with the pass. Elliott could still beat them but l bet his timing is off and he is not in top game shape. Prescott and his receivers better be ready. Beasley could have a big day when Seattle loads up the box. Elliott will be sore come Monday morning.

1) Can Zeke be successful in this game?
Pants thinks: He goes off (maybe not "gurley off" but a combined 150 scrimmage yds with 2 tds); Dallas controls the clock for 35 minutes and keeps the ball away from Wilson
2) Can Bell hold off the blind side?
Pants thinks: I am glad that we don't have one of the game's best over there and Frank Clark just showed up on the injury list with a toe...so, have a TE chip over there to slow down Clark and give Dak time in the pocket
3) Can the Dallas D keep Wilson in the pocket?
Pants thinks: to me, this is the make-or-break question of the day; if they can contain Wilson in the pocket and keep a spy in the middle (time to earn your gravy Jaylon) to limit his big plays, this will be a 20-point win for Dallas, otherwise, it could go either way
4) Can Dallas stay focused with their playoff lives on the line?
Pants thinks: they will know A LOT by kick-off (who won/lost that is still in the chase); will they give up if all of the teams ahead of them win? will they get too excited if all of them lose making Dallas a win (2) and in team? enquiring minds wanna know

NOTE: I didn't throw in anything about Garrett bungling the game...it was hard for me, I am trying

Here is another Collins pancake against against the Seahawks. That is a DL (Brandon Mebane 311 lbs) he launches to the ground. La'el is athletic and strong enough to play on defense.

The Seahawks have quit. Their defense hates each other. There's talk of blowing up the Legion of Boom this offseason for good.

With Wagner slowed and all the injuries, Zeke may very well get his 200 yards. I do think the Seahawks will score points though.

Dallas 31, Seattle 24. Zeke will go off.
As a Hawks fan I’d be thrilled if we scored 24.
This game is going to be a blowout in your favor.

They should be able to contain him.

after that..

some sacks would help.

Marinelli is going to have his hands full.

Tackling will be priority one.

missed tackles will gash the defense.

Getting the QB or WR or RB on the ground quickly after initial catch or run is huge.
Can’t you just see the ends crashing hard to the inside and Wilson getting outside the pocket and chucking it deep?

If we lose this game it will be a direct result of this scenario unfolding.

I never bet on anything based on the previous weeks performance. That goes both for a Seattle team that got routed and a Dallas team that had a hard time with the Raiders.

Dallas 17 -14

It could be but the Seahawks are not so great on the road and have been struggling lately.
??????

I agree with your post. I’m predicting Dallas winning in a blow out.
For the record the Hawks haven’t been good at home either this year.
Missing all-pros on defense will make a team mediocre to bad pretty fast.

You people hoping for beastly output from Collins do realize he is on the injury report, right?

"You people". What does that mean? Hater? Realist? Homer?

As for Collins, he has been injured the last couple of weeks and has played decent enough. It sucks both Smith and Collins are hurt but it is what it is.

It means exactly what it means. You people, as in people posting clips of Collins doing beastly things expecting he does the same Sunday when he is already on the injury report. The best move is to be halfway intelligent and just hope he gets through the game allowing us to win.

This is basically a playoff game.

They have the QB with the battle ready mental toughness and more overall grit as a team.

Being on home turf, with Zeke back, going against a defense that's a bit vulnerable, the Cowboys will do some things early, but late, the Hawks will do enough to rattle Dak into either a TO or drive stalling erratic throws.

Hawks 23, Cowboys 18
Close enough I would say.
