Seahawks weekly practice report

Most of them are in their early to mid 20's. We're not dealing with the most mature age group.
yes, and I get all that, but you would think SOMEONE would have spoken to them early on about how to be an adult in the NFL, and life. Clearly these guys are surrounded by yes men and they get fed a bunch of placating garbage..and false info. They get in way over their head when they come to the NFL.

We "should", should be able to move the ball on them all game long. They have zero pass rush and a weak secondary. Can they stop us at all?
But the question is, can we stop dangeRuss at all?

I'd like to see the Cowboys offense take care of their own business in scoring and then out the pressure on Seattle to keep up. That's not a slight on Wilson, or how great he has clearly been, but I think our defense is actually better than Seattle's. Ours hasn't been great, but they're giving up an incredible 415 yards passing per game.

We should be able to move the ball consistently but when we do, we have to score TOUCHDOWNS.

I'm laughing at guys blaming players getting injured on not being in top form. You cant simulate game speed.
point is, how many years have the players Union been trying to get preseason done away with? We need those games. If anything this has been something teams can learn from. Meaning, we need preseason in order to minimize injury and as you said, to get used to speed of the game gradually. Jumping right into games with no trial run before hand is turning out as I kinda thought it would. I say take away 1 preseason game and lets just have 3 each year. That should be perfect.

Starters mostly play in one preseason game anyway, so how much preseason do they need.

exactly. They need just enough to get use to game speed again and the hitting etc.Players are creatures of habit.

It just blows my mind that pros that get payed millions of dollars are not in top form. its like romper room for the silver spoons.
Doesnt matter its takes time to get your body in Physical form to take the beatings that they take. Have you ever played Football on any level.....

In my opinion they should have pushed the season back a month started games in October and had more practices. 12 padded practices with no OTAs, minicamps, preseason games. Then straight into regular season games is crazy

Besides bad luck , that plays a big part in it my friend, your body gets use to timing and consistency and this offseason has been anything BUT that, no real training camp otas scrimmages less padded practices. Yes it plays a part

Lol yea man he'll be just fine soon itll be second nature to him. That's why they say when you take that first big hit your body settles down and gets comfortable with physical contact

Thats not the players fault though, which is what I was saying. You cant simulate those activities on your own.
