Twitter: Sean Lee Contract Details

Stephen you sly dog out there winning some contract battles!

Two starters in Lee and McCoy. Pro Bowl talent, veteran leaders, cheap discount.

Good job Jerry and Stephen.

So far all of our signing have been good deals. Say what you want about Cooper's deal but that's the market and he was deemed the #1 FA on the market. Even Jarwins contract is a deal. Some were saying he was averaging $8 million a year which is not true. He is the 19th highest paid TE in the league which looks to be fair value since he is expected to start.

Plays on field as a coach...but gets paid at a deal level for the Cowboys. He says Cowboys with the sound glaring loudly!

If you'd pass that deal up for lee you're insane lol
Especially with they way our lb core looked last season after what we thought we had in them the season before.

I had heard the 8 million number too.

Spotrac has 4 years, 22mil.

Still, he was a RFA this year, so it's more like we already had the rights to a 3mil year, plus we bought a 3 year extension for 19.

That 18 in the league is averaging over 4 seasons. If you do only the extension years, he's more like 12th in the league. Seems pricey for a guy who has been at most been a half timer.

But if he balls out this year with MM's scheme, he price to re-sign would be way more than $8 million a year.
