Let the guy have a full year to recover and get ready for 2015. Because I have a hunch if he gets injured again he is gone.

Your hunch is an educated one.
2015 is IT for him.

MAN! I wish there was no need to type those words!

But head athletic trainer Jim Maurer said each individual’s rehab schedule is different. “I have already told [Lee], ‘We’re going to be fine,’” Maurer said. “You’re going to play for six more years. This ACL – we’re going to get this fixed.”
I'll take that bet.

50/50 he plays this season.

Rod Woodson came from a torn ACL in 19 weeks.

Within reason... why not? Put him on PUP for 6 weeks and see where he's at then.

But if he could come back and play in December... Hey why not?

Depends on our situation. If we are in a playoff run and he can get into football shape and contribute I'm for it. Otherwise put him on the shelf.

And that may be the case too, but I would bet that they are in the hunt for the div title at the end of November. It's like this this division isn't going to knock anyone's socks off and any team within a couple games of the leader come the end of November will still be in the hunt.

Want to bet?

I have to warn you that it's NFL procedure to PUP the player at the start of camp whether he is IR'd once the season starts or put on Reserve/PUP. The only way to IR until the 2nd cut down date would be to waive injured and hope the player isn't claimed.

Yes, they have to wait until the PUP date which I believe is the 1st day of training camp; although, they could exposed him to waivers and see if they could get a do-over on that contract.

I don't think they would want to eat that bonus (cap hit). Or let another team pick up the contract with only base left.

They drill holes in the upper and lower bones to form a tunnel above and below the knee joint. They then take a graft (another part of your body) and shove it in there.

I'm no surgeon, but I am training in anesthesiology.

Yes, had it while in the military....I actually requested to watch the procedure (I advise against that)...interesting. I underwent a total knee reconstruction and some other repairs (9 hour surgery). Good times!
