On saturday the defense was dominated, on sunday they insert Lee and the Def is worlds better. I agree with the team being cautious with Lee but at some point they just need to let him play. The guy is so intense and is the true leader of this team IMO. Player follow him around like a puppy according to people at VR. Lee and Hardy are going to lead this defense into a top 5 def ranking this yr watch.

Lee's ACL wasnt a matter if it was going to tear but when because it was partially torn. I think this is going to be the yr he takes over.

At the end of last yr the last 6 games(2playoff) this defense averaged 3 sacks and 3 TO a game. With Hardy and Gregory added to the mix i think these DBs are going to get some INTs this yr. Dallas started the lthe yr leading the league in 3 and outs, teams adjusted and then at the end of the yr Marinelli adjusted his scheme and went more man defense and this team started getting more turnovers and more sacks. If he can take those results and add to that scheme with the new passrushers i can see alot more turnovers. i would love to see this team play Byron jones at FS. Really hate seeing Church and Wilcox playing S together. One is a solid tackler but is a liability in coverage. The other cheats and gets caught for big plays atleast once a game, and its usually more. Jones could be a probowler type FS.

I agree Lee is the captain of the defense and is the natural leader. I hope and have been praying that his knee holds up for the rest of his career. He could have a great great career if he stays healthy.

Agreed, Lee is an incredible talent and
if he's healthy we'll have one of the best LB group in the league.

In regards to our DBs, I have very little faith that they'll pick passes. At the very least, I hope our DBs can contest passes consistently and not give up 1st downs on 3rd and long.

What bothers me about the "if, not when" thing with his ACL is why they didn't just go ahead and fix it in 2012 or 2013 when his season ended early. He'd have had plenty of recovery time from the surgery and wouldn't be in the "when, not if" situation

I'm going to look forward to not only some sacks and interceptions, but stopping drives during both halves.

I'm just not convinced Lee'S body can make it in this league. But when healthy he's definetly a big piece to this puzzle on defense.

I hope him and McClain actually get to play together. I can only imagine what a defense would look like with Hardy, Lee, McClain and Gregory, not to mention Lawrence. If the DBs step up, we'll actually have a fun defense to watch this year.

Lee has always been one of my favorite players on the defense and one of my favorites on the team.

I was actually initially more excited about him than Dez Bryant.

Think he had a hall of fame type talent and mindset, but with his injuries, he has probably already blown that opportunity.

I like Lee a lot and always have. I like the way he plays. He is a student of the game. I hope he can stay healthy and McClain, Wilson, and Hitchens are taken notes on how to be a professional.

He is a great student of the game. I fear though that the next injury will have us release him.

He'll be a coach in the his league, no doubt

I still think that recovery is not always 100% is the reason and the rehab is dreadful.

But if you expect it will go any time, why.not control that? Why not take care if it at a time where you are out anyway?

The whole thing makes me think the "when, not if" angle is a fabrication

I wonder if it is an "elective" surgery the team can come after him for some money.
