On saturday the defense was dominated, on sunday they insert Lee and the Def is worlds better. I agree with the team being cautious with Lee but at some point they just need to let him play. The guy is so intense and is the true leader of this team IMO. Player follow him around like a puppy according to people at VR. Lee and Hardy are going to lead this defense into a top 5 def ranking this yr watch.

Lee's ACL wasnt a matter if it was going to tear but when because it was partially torn. I think this is going to be the yr he takes over.

At the end of last yr the last 6 games(2playoff) this defense averaged 3 sacks and 3 TO a game. With Hardy and Gregory added to the mix i think these DBs are going to get some INTs this yr. Dallas started the lthe yr leading the league in 3 and outs, teams adjusted and then at the end of the yr Marinelli adjusted his scheme and went more man defense and this team started getting more turnovers and more sacks. If he can take those results and add to that scheme with the new passrushers i can see alot more turnovers. i would love to see this team play Byron jones at FS. Really hate seeing Church and Wilcox playing S together. One is a solid tackler but is a liability in coverage. The other cheats and gets caught for big plays atleast once a game, and its usually more. Jones could be a probowler type FS.

The 2nd and 3rd team defenses were reported to be better also on Sunday. Garrett said the DL was much better on Sunday after getting whupped on Saturday.

Obviously, Lee is better at WLB than the rookie Wilson, but I don't think he was the only reason or primary reason for the improvement. It appears that the DL was the primary problem on Saturday. I'm not certain but I think Hayden might have been out on Sunday. If true that could have resulted in the improvement because Ken Bishop is much stronger.

Lee is a great player ....... but there is no way I would trust him to stay healthy a year.

People said the same things about Dez and Murray. He's played 14,15 and 11games in a season. and he had one season with 6 games and last yr complete loss. His career has been pretty much like Murrays with injuries. thats what happens to players that play 100% all of the time.

Lee has pretty much been the best player on the defense since he entered the league. That's even with Ware still being effective. Problem is, he never completed a season and he's barely put together one full season collectively in the past 3 years. I don't blame people for forgetting just how good this guy is.

Never trusted Murray either ...... and its dumb for anyone to say that about Dez.
