Sean Lee signed a 1 year, $4,500,000 contract with the Dallas Cowboys, including a $1,000,000 signing bonus, $2,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $4,500,000. In 2020, Lee will earn a base salary of $2,000,000, a signing bonus of $1,000,000 and a roster bonus of $1,500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $4,500,000 and a dead cap value of $2,000,000.

I have no issue with this deal what so ever.

He also has $2 million in not-likely-to-be-earned incentives based on play-time percentage.

meh,not enthused about this at all.

If he hadn't have had what is considered an injury free year by past Lee standards and on field performance was no worse than Smith or LVE, who both played average or below at best I would normally agree with ya.

As it stands, with uncertainty on LVEs long term prognosis and Smith's streaky last yr performance, the signing is not terrible provided he's able to stay off the trainers table for another year.

Alternatives are a little blurred in my opinion unless prioritizing LB as a high pick.
