Gotta say that I am really liking the direction this franchise is heading regarding players that represent the team - and Sean Lee is one of the best.

How can you forget Romo (the face of the franchise) and Miles?

Brace yourself. I actually didn't forget them. I am setting a VERY high standard with those I listed and I didn't feel comfortable adding those guys.

Do I think Romo is elite? Yes. Do I think he's a very hard worker? Yes. Do I think he is largely a positive influence? Yes. But to me he's not quite at the level of the others I listed. Role model enters the conversation somewhere in there and Romo to me does not quite measure up to the others I listed based on what I've observed (which for some isn't that extensive). That's not a knock on Romo and his value to the team.

Miles? Jury is out for me. I want to see him consistently produce - not be up and down. Don't know that he has established that yet. But he's also got a little too much glitz to himself for my liking (see Kardashian).

Dez? Pfft. He's not at all a poster boy to emulate at this point. He's supremely talented. He may be a VERY hard-worker. He may be trying to get his entire act togther. Good for him. He's not there yet - I hope he gets there.

I am setting the bar VERY high.
