A guy gets hurt and all you can do is pat yourself on the back .... Happier to be right than unhappy about the impact on the team. Worst kind of fan.

The good thing here is that you get to play the "real fan" card on someone with a different opinion, and thus yell, "look at him! I'm a much better human being and my **** don't stink". There is nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of other people in an effort to inflate your own sense of self worth. Worst kind of hypocrite.

The Dallas Cowboys fear star linebacker Sean Lee tore his left ACL during the team's first organized team activity workout Tuesday, a source familiar with the injury told ESPN.

Lee will undergo an MRI on Tuesday to see if the Cowboys' fears are a reality, the source said.

see this is covered in another thread, feel free to merge/delete.

Man, I feel sorry for Sean. I know he wants to be on the field badly. He is gone for the year.

Wasn't there a LB drafted in the top 5 years ago by the Colts(?) who was supposedly one of the most talented players in the history of the game? Unfortunately, he couldn't stay healthy; it was one injury after another. If I remember correctly, he tried a comeback years later with the Cowboys but got injured again or just gave up football for good. I forgot that guys name but Lee reminds me of him. Snake-bitten with the injury bug. And in a meaningless practice at 1/4 speed. Too bad for us fans. Lee was a key to the defense rebounding this year.

I don't see much of a future for Lee as a player. I think coaching is in his future, maybe even near future.

Is there swelling they need to go down before they can take the MRI? I was hoping we would have heard something by now.

If you didn't see this coming you haven't seen him play for years. It's the same thing, year after year. He is Matt Johnson with the exception that some years he can be play 8-10 games. He just didn't make it past training camp. I know that contract he signed was semi-decent for the team but I wonder what the cost to cut him is. This is three seasons in a row... just draft a replacement already. Move on from these injury riddled players who can't see 16 games. I was so happy when they got rid of Austin. Hopefully Johnson and Lee soon. I'd rather have a less talented... more dependable player.

Yea he is no different the Miles, and people wanted him out on a train. Just because Lee is good, but what good is he when he NEVER plays?

Carter was pathetic last year, what make you think he will be any good this year at?

He looked to be a future star when at mlb in 2012. Some were whispering he was better than Sean Lee after 2012.

Beats me man. I'm so over Lee and ready to move on. I really wish we would have spent a higher draft pick on MLB. We haven't even hit training camp and I'm sure Marinelli is already scratching his head. Just so over all these injury prone players.

Didn't Carter have his best yr when he took over for Lee in the middle? 2yrs ago I believe it was

Who knows, maybe Carter can do it.

Just an FYI though; that was an entirely different scheme two years ago with no true middle linebacker position.

He did look good on the inside though.
