When Sean Lee returns, do we move him to the weakside, and then Durant to the strong side?

Thoughts?

(assuming McClain continues to play well)

How long is he signed for? We may only have McClain for one year.

I wouldn't be counting on Lee for anything next year,,, but I get your point, McClain looks like the real deal at MLB.

"Rolando McClain signed a 1 year / $700k contract with the Dallas Cowboys, including an annual average salary of $700,000."

I think so. McClain looks good at MLB, and Lee would be a great fit at WIL. I'm actually digging Carter at SAM so far early on. Two of those three guys are up in the air, but you'd think they'd both want to resign in Dallas if they play well throughout the season, given their ups and downs with their careers to-date.

I can see it being Rolando at MLB, Lee at SLB and Hitchens at WLB. I don't think they resign Carter unless he lights it up this season.

I can see them resigning him, but only if the price is right. If he hs a really good season, someone else will offer him more than he is worth.

Maybe so. If Hitchens plays well, they probably don't need him. We will just have to wait and see, I suppose.

They might have to cut Lee and give his salary to McClain.;)

I think people have an insanely short memory and when healthy, Lee is not only a coach on the field but a bonafide playmaker. He is easily the best coverage LB on the team.

McClain at Mike is a no brainer but Lee at Will makes too much sense, at Will he is protected so he can just make plays. Carter is actually looking good at Sam is proving to be very good rushing the passer too.

Keep Ro in middle with Sean and Bruce flanking him so Cowboys can concentrate on fixing other areas that desperately need the attention

McClain, Carter and Durant are free agents after the season.

Nobody is forgetting that Lee is a great player when healthy. The question is if he will ever stay healthy.
