Nah, don't agree.

With a healthy Lee, and our DL, we have a championship caliber D. Remember the Giants, 2008 and '11? Irving is a killer, and DLaw is the DPOY, fan vote or otherwise, thus far. MCollins hasn't event gotten started yet. Crawford is there. Our DL is elite this year. ELITE.

Our OL is meshing, now. It all hangs on Zeke, even with some of our WRs suffering ankles. Dak doesn't rely on any single WR.

The Gents bestLB during those years was Antonio Pierce as well. He was good, but he's no Lee. Irving is Tuck and Dlaw is Strahan!! :)

I don't disagree, that given the play so far, we have a good foundation. the secondary needs to play a little better. I am not surprised that we struggled early on, given sean lee's injury, hitchens being out, we had 5 new starters in the back 7, who didn't play on the same page. they are slowly coming together. they learning how to play as a team. they are learning their assignments, so hopefully they will continue to grow.

I like Irving and Lawrence but that Giants D had Tuck, Pierre-Paul and Umenyiora on the edges in 2011. That's three guys who had multiple double digit sack seasons in their career.

Love the avi. Timmy is one of my favorite human beings on Earth. Super cool guy and wicked video game player.
I went to a Circuit City about a month after I moved to San Antonio and Timmy was in there picking up a couple video games. I had to fight the urge to rush over to him, but noticed everyone else was cool and giving Timmy his space, so backed off too. He looked pretty relaxed in shorts and T-shirt, just wanted to do some gaming.

I just can't help but to think how scary good we'd be if a certain someone was dedicated to football and not the purple drank.

We should save him for important downs given how important he is to the defense and gis injury history, he can't take 100 percent snaps like a regular starter, even though he wants to

Just be better then average haha. That's all I ask.

We have to get to the playoffs. A Rodgersless NFC is ours for the taking.

Rodgers-less yes, but unfortunately not Roger (Goodell) less. So we still have an uphill road to climb.

We can never just shut up and let our play speak for itself. Never.
It is a reflection of the leadership. If the leaders are saying it, then the followers start believing it. This is not a talented enough group all around to start thinking they are elite.

I love Lee to death and he is an outstanding player. But this kind of talk is a little silly to do in the middle of the season.

Yes, KC is a good team, but this is not the time to be crowning anything "championship level defense".

You do that like we were performing in Phillips' next to last year when they were posting shutouts.

Not so sure a championship level defense rests on the play of 1 player, namely him. They looked terrible without him in there.
