Sean Lee

Where are the cries of Sean Lee being weak and a bust now?

Aside: did you all see DeMarcus Ware sniff out that screen pass that led to the big sack? Ware is in a league all by himself.

I can't believe they gave DPoTY award to someone else every year he has been in the league. I think he has already been robbed of the award twice. Hopefully he will get it this year.

About a month ago AdamJT13 posted a log of Ware's sacks. It was amazing to compared him to the other rush OLBs in the league. Many of those guys got their sacks unblocked or going up against a RB or TE. Ware hardly got a cheap one the whole year - had to beat an OT for darn near every sack.

He should still be good for his regular 15 sacks but Ryan may be able to scheme to get him another 7-10 sacks which should put him in striking distance of the sack record.

I told you all Lee would become a franchise player, my favorite pick from that draft class, you all just thought I was hating on Dez? Am I still just hating on Dez?

Lee will become an Urlacher, R.Lewis, Willis type franchise ILB that becomes as important to a franchise as QB. I said it a year ago and all he has done is prove my radical opinion valid. He's a beast.

If you are still hateing on Dez you shouldnt be! We need both Dez and Miles on the field!!

lol

Im glad you saw something in him, and you were correct about that, but some of us have known what type of player he could be for years bud.

His health is the only major concern he has as far as im concerned. If he can stay healthy, he'll have a long and very successful career in the NFL.

You want to know why the defense is being so tight against the run... Well Lee's a big part of that.

Tackles don't tell the entire story, Spencer finished with 1 official tackle (his sack) but his impact on the game was much greater than that number suggests.

We know that he is on the field, for sure.

Good and bad.

Yep, the 49ers knew he was in man coverage, too. :)

A lot of people didn't think he looked good in preseason. I still don't know what they thought they were seeing.

I agree. A lot of our fans are ignorant about football and only have the ability to regurgitate what our even dumber media spew.

The funny part was their saying "I'm not sure I'd like to see Ware in coverage like that but..", meanwhile the dude was in perfect position, sniffed out the play and adjusted accordingly, etc.
