I am thinking it is you that needs to go.

Please calm down and stop making incendiary posts.

LOL, funny JT.

Now to respond to the thread.....Barber could have had that first if he fell forward and didnt try to bounce outside....wait isnt that what Parcells has been teaching J Jones......these young backs are not ready to be called on in clutch situations.

Payton could have called a better play, sure. and i was sure we had it at 2nd and 2 from the 3, that is a dream situation. 2 minute warning, we lost a bit of momentum and they stuffed the run. But we blew it the next 2 plays, i dont know what happened but raiders has the right defense called for both plays.

Didnt Jim Fassel one year take over the playcalling from Payton when he was in New York and thanks to that they made the playoffs? I think he deserves to be fired more than Zimmer does

This guy is a JOKE when it comes to calling offensive plays. Why is he not letting Bledsoe go downfield until we're down and chasing to come back.

I am fed-up with his play calling like Bledsoe is Quincy Carter or Drew Henson.

Cut him LOOSE!!!

Parcells... PLEASE take over the play calling and send this joker packing like the Giants did....

P-L-E-A-S-E :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Parcells okays all the plays he calls. The blame doesn't all go to Payton.

Parcells has taken over some calls and made some bad ones...we had horrid play calling inside the 5 at the end...but, it depends on how the team runs a play and Bledsoe rushed several times because of he had NO blocking most of the game.

parcells needs to coach defense and move zimmer to secondary coach

yep, playcalling cost us in both games we lost..

His play calling seemed fine to me against San Fran.

I think there are deeper issues here, I am not sure its all Sean Payton.

Our playcalling has sucked every since BP has arrived IMO. I have the utmost respect for BP, but I personally cannot stand his conservative offensive philosophies, they only work if your team is significantly physically superrior like his Giants were, especially the O-line. I don't think you will see that kind of o line domination in todays salary cap/FA NFL.

Nice pic. Time to take Bledsoe out of the bus and put him in the ferrari.

Ya know, ironic thing is, he's made some great plays.

He's never been a "busdriver" QB...he's always been a guy with a great arm who loved to throw deep.

But at this point teams are taking away the deep ball, which they've done against Drew since the midway point of the 2002 season.

That doesn't mean we should take a few shots.

Hell, what's happened here is the defense realizes it doesn't have to cover the entire field. Between that and running in between the tackles all the time, no wonder the running game has been awful.

I always use the same example with regard to the deep ball.

In Superbowl III Namath was up against the vaunted Colt defense. Don Maynard, his deep threat could hardly run because of a hamsting injury.

Namath asked him to run deep, just once, early in the game...Maynard somehow got behind the secondary...but Namath overthrew him.

It scared the daylights out of the Colts who played the rest of the game in deep zones..and Namath picked them apart underneath.

In fact, a case could be made that the most important play of that SuperBowl was that pass to Maynard, which fell incomplete.

Hey, I don't disagree with taking some shots... but this stuff about blaming Payton is insane. The old-man at any point could over-ride what Payton was doing. It's not like Purcells didn't know what was happening.

I am sick of seeing us contiually running up the middle when it is obvious that they were shutting that down. Worst pass defense in the league and we went to the ground game too much. 1 and 10 inside the 10 and how many times did we go to the TE? 0

This unholy alliance to the run game is costing us games. THROW THE BALL!!!!

...up the middle was 6 yards per carry. It was the left side that was abysmal.
