five-wide, empty backfield set.

Those were his exact words. Says they'd put 48 on us.

I think he's an idiot, and I'm pretty sure he might be on meth, but I thought I'd relay the info. He was just on 103.3, for those wondering.

We all know how tough that is to stop, but the Colts, Eagles and Ravens have pretty much played them to a stand still, so saying the Cowboys have "NO CHANCE" is just stupid.

He was accused of sexual harassment at ESPN, so I would say he's a card carrying member of the "FAIL" fraternity

The sad thing about this guy is that the Professor really does know more about football then does Salisbury.

You guys are doing the same thing we are doing on the Pats board. That is, responding to sports reporters who for the most part do not have a clue about football.

I simply ignore almost all of these fools. They can yap and yap and it doesn't mean a thing. And yes, there are a few that know what they are talking about, but they are in the minority.

So, IF, and that is the operative word we meet in the SB, you don't know, I don't know, no sports reporter knows what will happen.

So, yap, yap, yap. Just play the game.

Who cares what that bum says?? He wants to talk about us not doing enough on Defense, but says nothing about NE's last two struggles, particulary last week in a game they didnt deserve to win. What did we do against GB when they tried to go deep on us with all those recievers?? We took the Iron Man and folded him.

And before I head out, I would also like to add to the list -- polls.

So, does anyone really believe any poll that comes out? Not me, not even the Pro Bowl ballet.

Nonsense is the way of the world lately.

Yes, I heard the interview in its entirety and I had no problem with it whatsover.

People really need to get over this obsession with the Patriots. Kind of reminds me of the Skins and Eagles fans obsession with the Cowboys :). They beat us by 3 Touchdowns in our own back yard and they had injuries in that game as well.

If we play our cards right and they play theirs, the Cowboys will get a shot at the Patriots in the Super Bowl, and Salisbury stated that.

Unless proven otherwise on the field:

Pats > Cowboys
Pats > Colts
Cowboys > Packers
Cowboys > Giants
Cowboys > Vikings

We had no chance to stop Brett Favre and the Packers' five-wide formations, either. How'd that turn out for Favre?

I'd say the guy is toast, but he's obviously Salisbury Steak. Pass the gravy...

So there is no such thing as "any given sunday" mantra?

No chance is an absolute statement and as a ex-football player he should know better to make a such statement. But then he should know all about having no chance, being a career backup QB.

So, a career backup QB who is more widely known for sending dirty pictures of himself to fellow co-workers thinks we have no shot in a hypothetical rematch against the Patriots.

Please tell, why should I care?

amen. there is so much football left to play. there are a number of analysts I like, and actually I have no problem with salisbury, I know what his deal is and who he works for so, its understandable.

But like patsfan it is just fodder to keep us interested till sunday, as if we need more reasons!

If he wasn't convicted, then perhaps he is a member of the accused fraternity, rather than the failed fraternity.

I wouldn't mind them starting out like that against us...assuming both get there which is a big if. I think we will attack him and believe if they leave Brady alone back there the Dallas D will put a stop to it quickly. The downside is obvious....they break some big ones. I still like our chances in that scenario.
