Here are updated stats to shutup the Roy vs. Sean controversy..

Roy Williams
Total tackles: 81
Interceptions: 2
Average Interception Return: 26.5
Pass deflections: 8
Forced fumbles: 1

Sean Taylor
Total tackles: 51
Sacks:1
Interceptions: 4
Average Interception Return: 21.2
Pass deflections: 8
Forced fumbles: 1

Now the real killer.. Roy Williams has been playing out of position where his true talents have been near the line of scrimmage. Sean Taylor is a natural "ball hawk" as you would put, yet he only has two more interceptions and an equal amount of pass deflections. Factor in that in the last two games Roy has lost two interceptions due to penalties irrelevant to him, coverage wise there stacks are pretty equal.

Understandably, Roy is not very well in coverage.. however, I have seen Taylor getten beat many times aswell. As much as Deadskin fans try to push it, it's safe to say that receivers are indefinately more scared of Roy then Sean.

And for anyone about to use inactivity as an excuse, he was inactive due to poor off-field actions. That only penalizes Sean more as a player, it's HIS fault.

Conlcusion? Roy remains the beast of the east!

Roy is the second best saftey in the confrence behind Dawkins. I put it:

Dawkins
Williams
Taylor
But taylor is a rookie. Rookies get beat. And hes much better in coverage than Williams who let TO get off on him in the first game. 2 games against us, hes been BELOW average.

Actually only Burgess and Thomas are injured. Thomas' backup Grasmanis (our fifth defensive tackle) is just as good, and actually fresh because he hasn't played all season.

McDougle who is just as good as Burgess (who made a nice move to cause the INT to Sheppard in the fourth quarter) just came off the injury list last week.

Sorry for the misinformation. Hey two injured is still 50% of the eagles dline.

Burgess "started" but really 8 players rotate along the line and pretty much play the same ammount of time (Kearse plays a little bit more). Next to Kearse the second best defensive lineman is Sam Rayburn, who doesn't start.

It's really 2/8 (25%) of the normal rotation...2/10 (20%) out of the total rotation with only 8 activated on Sunday.
