Is the search function broken? The last month or so everytime I try to use it, I just get sent back to the Home page. Am I just being a moron and doing something wrong?

A few days ago I was looking for the inactives list.

Then I was looking for posts from certain posters.

Today I was looking for the past few posts I had made to see the responses.

Everytime I get the the page that shows all of the forums.

After a game they started turning the search function off to help with "forum is busy" and stop the call out threads.

The search function is an extremely expensive part of the forum resource wise. It searches through every single forum and since users rarely select a specific forum to search through, this means it's a big hit on performance.

There is a time limit.

I think after a short period of time you can no longer edit.

I think I am too dependent on the red squiggly lines. So when I finish a post and dont see any I think Im good to go.


As Im typing now it seems like they only appear when your quoting someone, not on quick reply
