I'm not too interested in the outcome, per se. Mostly intrigued by how our offensive line performs, and how our defense handles a very mobile QB.

I'll be interested in the outcome. You either win or you lose, and the latter should always be unacceptable.

I'm putting 5 bills on us. We win. You watch.

The Key: RoMc shadowing Wilson and Dez causing Sherman to PI multiple times.

doubters.

I'm actually looking forward to this game. I think we, as a team, need this kind of game to actually see where we are at. I mean, I know we are 4-1 but don't you guys really want to see how our OL does against their Defense? I do for sure. This, IMO, is going to tell us a lot about where we need to add strength for the upcoming off season. Our OL is intact right now. Later in the year, that might not be the case so I'm glad we are having this game now.
Basically, right now we know we're playoff caliber, now we need to know if we're championship caliber. Of course, even if that's determined now, it's a long season in which lots can change from Week 6 to Week 16.

With a healthy McClain, I'd go heavy on Dallas with that line. Without him, I'd go heavy the other way.

I expect Dallas to lose by 10-14, but I also think it'll be close until late.

This game will tell us a lot in my opinion, I don't believe in moral victories but if the Cowboys play these guys tough in that environment then I'll start to believe. I don't believe the Cowboys will win this game but I want to see how competitive they are.

this is pretty much exactly how i feel. this game will really be a good benchmark for where this team is at right now, win or lose.

This game will prove neither. It's a regular season road game, nothing more.

Now, that doesn't mean go get beat by 50. But this is house money we're playing with at 4-1. To come home 4-2 with three consecutive road games upcoming is a pretty good situation.

And this is the NFL. I wouldn't be shocked if Dallas won either. I just want a healthy squad coming home first and foremost with two division games up next.

A loss doesn't really tell me anything. A win would be a big Wow, but a loss has minimal affect on the Cowboys' chances to make the playoffs.

Agreed.

The bigger game is the following week vs. the Giants IMO.

I think that it depends on what kind of a loss it is and how we go about calling the game. That's kind of what I'm saying in my earlier post. It will also tell us a little bit about exactly how far along our coaching staff is, from the standpoint of who we believe our team to be. Do we believe in the kind of Football we have been playing over these last few weeks or not? I'm really excited about this game.
The way I see it is that the Cowboys are a young team that has the possibility to improve later in the season with more experience, some players continuing to get healthy (McClain, Spencer, Melton, Romo) and the possibility of getting contrbutions from players that are not on the current roster (Lawrence and maybe Hamilton or Okoye).

The Cowboys could go 12-4 this season and one of the 4 could be a 40-0 loss to the Seahawks in Seattle.

More than win or a loss, it's how we play against them that wii tell us where this team is heading.

I don't see us winning there but I do think we can keep it competitive.

The results of this one game are not going to change my outlook for the remainder of the year regardless.

it takes more than one game, either way, for me to form an opinion as to how this team will or will not do.

Last week people were counting the Patriots and Tom Brady as dead and their season basically over. Last night all they did was beat the hell out of a good Bengals team that was the last undefeated team left.

I know this sounds extremely negative... but I think next week is a success if we get out of there alive with no injuries without completely embarrassing ourselves.

This game reminds me of the Pats-NYG game that the Giants lost but taught them that they could hang with anyone.

Put your kids tuition on them. I Don't see how we keep this game close, worst matchup for us possible.

I don't think we win this game, either, but I'm curious why you think this is the worst possible matchup for us. You have a reason beyond the fact that they're good, and tough to beat at home?

With healthy LBs, I think we matchup ok with SEA. We can keep the pressure off Tony, for the most part. We're capable of running against stuffed fronts and still being productive. We can at least make them protect the entire field. Defensively, we go sideline to sideline well to counter the edge pressure Harvin and Wilson can apply. We're not abysmal against the run if we're lined up properly. We cover well on Teams. The primary thing I worry about is holding onto the ball up there. And the fact that I think their defense probably shuts down our offense--despite the matchups--because they're just better than the best offenses out there. Especially at home.

Not sure why anyone would think beating the consensus best team in the league and having the best record in the NFL proves nothing. It sure would tell me a lot.

Not saying that. I'm just saying this game does not set up well. Playing there without a healthy linebacker corps is tough, and October means little.

I do expect Dallas to play well. I don't expect a win. Not yet. They're not quite ready. But they're arrow is pointing up.

Seattle has not even played their game tonight.

1 major injury and watch a team go south.
