@GimmeTheBall!: I don't remember them awful days because I only became a Seahawks fan last season when we won the SB. But I do remember we were so awful that in 2005 we were the NFC Champions that went to the SB only to get cheated by the refs. So awful that our awful 7-9 team beat the Saints in the wildcard round, the same Saints team many experts believed to be elite that season. By awful do you mean winning 6 division titles that past 10 season or not winning a playoff game since the 90s?

LOL no shame in admitting you are a bandwagonner lmao

Witten won't be pushed around like a rag doll. Washington's TE couldn't block a high school player last night.

My gut tells me we will win.

My gut also once told me that there was no way Bill Bixby turned green, put on purple pants, and grew huge muscles after getting pissed off..

For that, it's a stone cold lock.

This game must be error free. Somewhat like the New Orleans game.

Stay with the run game, even if it is tough sledding. Murray will wiggle for yards, but they need to think of filling the box on him.

One of the routes that worked for Washington, even though it was a short pass was a trips right and the small fast guy cut right,m behind the other receivers going left. deception is the key on offense. And get Dez singles up and protect Romo. Give him time to pass.

Defensively they have three guys who are scary. Wilson softens toe defenses with his legs. RoMac may need to spy him like people did once when Vick was something more than the nothing he is now.

Harvin is a tough cover. I wish the brain trust here would view Harris in a similar light with moving him and the deception they use to get him the ball.

Lynch can carry this team if Dallas tackles like they did against the Houston's.

I would consider this game like the Denver game last year and see if I could gin enough offense to make it a who scores last game. Cousin's couldn't carry Romo's sweat socks. There will be a difference there if the line can keep a clean pocket.

I think we are gonna make hay against the opposite corner from Sherman whose name escapes me. He is a bigger corner and probably would play Dez tough but I think quicker guys like Williams, Harris and Beasley are gonna give him fits. Chancellor has also been poor in coverage in the games I have watched this year. Denver and now the Skins have hit on some route combos that seem to give the Squawks a bit of trouble. I see us givi,g Sherman a LOT of garbage duty since he doesn't pick up the best receiver all the time.

I am more concerned with how we are going to stop the Seahawk offense and specifically Wilson. His ability to make plays outside the scope of the regular offense is what makes them dangerous.

Here is the key to Defense. Keep wilson in the pocket. Stop the run. Then we will be fine.

@cowboys1981 Yes. You are correct. I'm gonna put on my Rick Mirer jersey now since he is the Seahawks best QB ever coming out of Notre Dame back in 92 and the sole reason why I became a fan. Walter Jones was garbage. Brian Blades is trash, John L Williams is a bum. Michael Sinclair was a dump. Cortez Kennedy was a joke. The reason why I became a Seahawks fan was because of players like Kelly Stouffer, Kelly Jennings, Dan Mcguire, Koren Robinson and John Friesz.

Yep , Google is your friend...

I think the issues with Foster were more obvious when McClain was out....of course that might happen again this week.

According to Garrett, Crawford lined up wrong in place of Selvie on that big run off the left that started everything going (I think that's what he's saying, I'm paraphrasing, and you know Garrett never blames players directly in pressers). Though, I'd agree that things got a lot easier on the ground with McClain on the bench, too.

No, just traditionally awful.
I mean, 1 Lombardini Trophy in . . . well, forever, as opposed to 5 at Valley Ranch.

Enjoy your 1lombardini trophy.

Isn't that the only game that they've lost at home since Russell Wilson has taken over?
I believe it is. The Seahawks will lose multiple times at home during Wilson's career. The question is when will each loss occur?

Use the same formula that you have the last 4 games minus the turnovers. Do that, and we have a shot. If we run the ball consistently and convert a high percentage of third downs then our offense will be in good shape. We need McClain to play. If not, Lynch is going to run threw our defense.

I thought Cortez Kennedy was pretty good.

Seriously though, when your first post here at CZ is you just saying Seattle will win by 2 TD's, you're going to get looked at as a troll, even though your subsequent posts say you aren't. Even if that's how you really think the game will play out... it wasn't the best way to make an entrance.

The truth is, you guys should win this game at Seattle. It will be surprising if you don't. However, anything can happen and the Cowboys physical nature this year will help them hold up against a physical Seahawk team. The Dallas offense is pretty talented but the Seattle defense is talented too. You guys offense might give the Dallas defense trouble because they aren't up to the level of the offense yet and Lynch and Wilson provide quite a challenge.

Dallas is a very young team, so it will be a good test for them in such a hostile environment. They're kind of brash though and I don't think they'll be intimidated by the 12th man.

I don't think Seattle will stop us from being effective offensively, they will have to pick their poison in the running game or the passing game. Where we will be in trouble is at linebacker. If both Carter and Ro can't play, we will get exposed pretty easily. If they can play, turnovers will be the key to a closer than expected game.
