We can use Beasley and Harris as decoys and motion them as if we're going to run a reverse. This should freeze up their LBers momentarily as well.

I would like to use a "hybrid" form of the hurry up to keep them from substituting on their D-line.

The way the offensive line is playing you cant help but feel like Dallas has a shot every week. Seattle can usually generate a good pass rush with 4 guys, I am not so sure they will be able to do so this week. To me that will be the key to the game.

I thought Cortez Kennedy was pretty good.

Seriously though, when your first post here at CZ is you just saying Seattle will win by 2 TD's, you're going to get looked at as a troll, even though your subsequent posts say you aren't. Even if that's how you really think the game will play out... it wasn't the best way to make an entrance.

I was being sarcastic, Cortez Kennedy is in the Hall of Fame for a reason, The dude was a monster. And I do believe Seattle will win by 2 TDs. U can call that trolling if u want but I'm gonna stand by it. I'll be back on Sunday night or Monday win or lost.

Troll!!!!

Find a Seahawk forum to go post on. Why are you even here? Tired of talking to one or two of the same guys on the Seahawks forum??

I get it, it's America's Team!!

Just in case you aren't kidding in your post... I was being sarcastic too.

And I know that you believe that prediction, I was just saying maybe come at it another way.

Oh well, if you haven't seen the logic in what I said, then I won't be able to convince you anyway.

Seattle's DT don't have the quickness to really bother our interior guys. Really powerful and quick guys give us problems like Poe, Atkins, Watt or Fairley. Mebane much less Williams do not give us the same issues. They certainly are not going to demand a double team from Frederick and he will be in the second level. Watching Martin and Leary single block Watt in the run game convinced me of the truth of that. Can Fred get to Wagner? We will see.

Seattle will cheat Chancellor up to stop the run and it works but that is what allowed Gates to get behind their secondary and I saw holes in the Seachickens zone on Monday versus the skins. After watching Smith manhandle Quinn I am not worried about him for all of Watt jumping snap counts. The key is going to be the matchup between Bennett/Avril and Free.

Seattles pass rush has not been very productive this year. 6 sacks and 2 interceptions is mediocre and bad respectively. The team is also giving up a lot of points as opposed to last year. Almost an extra TD a game. It's not the same defense without Bryant, et al.

Offensively, we have to play disciplined. If Selvie, Mincey and Spencer abandon contain like Kerrigan then we will be introuble but Russell's day was more about Kerrigan overpursuing like an idiot for the entire first half and a good decision then anything else. It's easy to run in the open field and he slid as soon as he sniffed a tackle. Unger is also hobbled with that foot.

OTOH, Hayden is likely to get blown up by Carpenter and if McClain cannot go that could be our doom. This game is going to be competitive.

I don't think Seattle will stop us from being effective offensively, they will have to pick their poison in the running game or the passing game. Where we will be in trouble is at linebacker. If both Carter and Ro can't play, we will get exposed pretty easily. If they can play, turnovers will be the key to a closer than expected game.

Man, if we could just get an "in his prime" Ray Lewis in there Sunday...Ray Lewis for a day...a mad man in the middle for Mr. Lynch. 51 consecutive games without allowing a 100 yard rusher!

In reviewing the Chargers/Seahawks recap, a few key stats the Chargers dominated were time of posession and 3rd down efficiency. They also didn't turn the ball over. Additionally, they had stellar TE play.

The Chargers dominated TOP 42:15 to 17:45. They converted 10 of 17 third downs. Gates got 3 TDs.

They also didn't shy away from Sherman, connecting on about 6 pass plays in his direction with no trouble.

Their game plan was balanced with an equal amount of runs and passes.

These are all things we should do as well to win the game. And I predict we will.

Do you pick the Cowboys to win every game, if so, then I can understand this kind of post, if you don't pick the Cowboys to win every game, then do you really believe this?

think if Romo has to throw 40+ times like he did against Houston we don't stand a chance. I like when he's in the <35 range.

Win or lose, excited to see where we are at as a football team after this Sunday.

Gotta be physical, aggressive, and get good, positive yardage on first and second down so they end up with manageable third downs. The new catch phrase in Dallas this season is "stay ahead of the chains"... and that's exactly what they need to do.

It is really good to hear Mincey talking about how his Denver team wasn't physical and aggressive enough because that means that the team knows they need to be just as physical and tough as the Seahawks. In Seattle, that is a tall order, but if any team in the NFL can do it, this tough Dallas team is the one. The Cowboys pushed around a very physical San Francisco team and they can stand toe-to-toe with Seattle in that crazy-bin of a stadium.

The Seahawks won't like it one bit when they figure out that Dallas is punching them in the mouth. They're going to attempt to bring the intimidation and be even more aggressive than Dallas... and the Cowboys can't let them do it.

Win or lose, this is going to be one of Garrett's "teachable moments" and it should be very, very good for a young Dallas team just learning to stretch its physical legs. This game is going to show the Cowboys how it is done, and I think they're really starting to see the way.

It's my optimistic prediction. I'm feeling good about this team. No plans to put my next paycheck on it, though. Anything can happen, including them executing the game plan without big mistakes. The Seahawks are beatable. No doubt about that.

Yea, I agree the Seahawks are beatable, but are they beatable at home? Sure it can be done, the Cardinals did it last year, but they are the only team to do it for the past 3 years, and I believe they won by a single point. Those are tough odds, and you think the Cowboys can beat them by 11 in their house. That's being very optimistic to say the least.

This is a very tough test. Our defense is giving up 6.2 points per play, worst in the league. That is very concerning as we have to play against what I consider a very good offense. They bludgeon you with the run. Then run play action with a mobile QB who has a great feel for the game and can run if necessary. Turnovers are always important, but that will be very critical here. It will be important to stop the run and put them in some third down situations. Hopefully Rolando McClain can play. He will be critical. We need to get stops and force them to kick field goals instead of touchdowns.

Offensively we need to possess the ball as much as possible. I hope our offensive line can create some holes, however Seattle gives up 2.5 yards per rush. It will be a tall task. I think we will have to spread them out and mix up run and pass.

I still like our team, but I see us losing by ten points, unless Romo can play out of his mind (like against Denver 2013).

That's a good stat. I probably should predict a narrow victory instead of an 11 point margin. Mainly, I think we can pull off the victory.
