Seattle Lost

How in the hell are you giving them the benefit of going 5-0 during this stretch and saying we will go 2-3 or 3-2? Do cowboys fans hate themselves or something? I bet i dont go on a Patriots forum and see fans fretting that the 7-4 dolphins may take the division from Brady.

Reading must be hard for you, I said multiple times I am not predicting this or saying it's likely, just saying it's possible, and they don't have to go 5-0 if we lose 3 or more games.

I think we're going to get the #1 seed, but it's not wrapped up. If we lose to the Giants it's still in doubt.

I agree, but

No reading is not hard, this is a stupid post. Again we are 10-1 riding the longest winning streak in the nfl and you are here bringing up the possibility that a team 2 games behind us can somehow take the division from us. The likelihood of us losing 3 or more of our next 5 is about the same as you getting a date with Jennifer Lawrence

Needing to win 2 games in the playoffs to get to the Super Bowl is MUCH less of a hurdle than having to win 3 - so, most of us care a LOT.

Do we ever have homefield advantage? No. Do we normally play better on the road? Yes. Does it seem like a bye helps us? No.

There are downsides to BOTH of these. Just get into the playoffs.

I know they do not have to win out. So for this dramatic NFCE come back by the Giants and collapse by the Cowboys, the Giants win which of the remaining 4 games? Or do they win all 5? My whole point (for those that have read) is it is not likely the Giants can catch the Cowboys. 2 wins more than likely locks up the NFCE for Dallas. Would you not agree that is more likely to happen than the Giants winning 4 or 5 games?

Keeping the math simple, what happens if we lose Thursday, and they win Sunday. Then the game in NY is winner take all, with common opponents toss up type games to end the season. No Bueno.

What this is all sounding like, is we really, really, really need to win Thursday, and NY loses Sunday. The comeback is not that inconceivable at this point unfortunately.

Sigh, unfortunately, such is the case. NFC-E battles are never cake walks. It's going to be brutal ... as brutal as the Deadskins game. 2 missed FG's and a missed 2 point conversion says we won by 5.

Giant game will be monumental.

The Giants are going to be very confident against us in two weeks having already beaten us. Most of the biggest games in which we've faced them the past decade they came out on top. We always have trouble pressuring Eli and it ends up killing us. Not saying that's going to happen when we face them again but I expect a real dogfight. With our D showing more cracks every week we have to maintain our focus.

Yeah it's totally impossible even though every team we face remaining has a winning record. You're a moron.

Saints in 09 were undefeated and lost their last 3 games. In 07, we only lost 1 game and then dropped 2 at the end of the season.

Yet again, games get tougher around this time. This chicken little nonsense we saw last season from most of you and now you're all as cocky as can be is funny to me.

JPP won't lay a finger on Dak. Zeke and Beas will have a big day.

2015 Cowboyszone - FIRE EVERYONE! CUT BEASLEY! I HATE WILLIAMS!

2016 Cowboyszone - LOL WE'RE UNSTOPPABLE! STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE YOU EAGLES TROLL!

I agree with you in the main, but this aspect of your argument is simply of no value. Dallas played with the lead the whole way. They played like a team with a lead throughout. Those field goals were missed. Imagining a scenario where they were not but every other variable was the same is pointless.

Our offense isn't what concerns me, it's pressuring Eli and stopping the Giants offense. If we don't get pressure on him, he'll pick us apart. Any mistake with OBJ in coverage and it's over!

Flaky Eli is just as likely to throw picks as pick us apart.

Yep we're all fans of the Cowboys, but these people that argue that it's not possible for us to lose another game are just stupid. Our defense is being held together by paper right now.

And somehow the Giants will beat all the teams with winning records including us. I'm sorry you hate yourself.

Don't hate myself at all, it's just football. You are the one acting like it's the most important thing in life. Maybe you don't have a lot else going on in your life.

We haven't had a pick in weeks because we can't pressure the QB. To get Eli to throw picks you have to get him uncomfortable and move him around and we have trouble doing that.
