I actually think our best shot at playoffs is still the wild card because another loss won't knock us out of that. Seattle has a brutal finish for a team with little offense. 10-6 or 11-5 can still make the wild card and possibly an easier first round game. Down deep, I want to win out and take the division, but winning out and Philly losing today and next week may be the only way to win the division.
I see tonight's game as a win-win. I think we can more easily win the wild card spot with a Seattle loss, but I also can't ever pull for Philly to win. The 10 days helps us but is no real advantage. After Thanksgiving, we had 7 days, a game, and now 10 days. Philly had 8 days, a game, and will have 9 days...a wash.
Confusing times when it comes to other teams in the playoff picture, but a great time to be a Cowboys fan! Whatever happens down the stretch and into playoffs, this season provides hope that addressing the defense in offseason could make next season very special.
Side note---personally, I've decided resigning Murray is more important to me than Dez, though neither is going anywhere next season.
