Best argument for Peterson yet, thank you. If he runs 4.4 no way he makes it to 9. After watching a bunch of highlights I would be surprised if he runs that fast though. LSU has always been a power team and their players routinely come out and run slower at the combine.

I like Prince's ability as a pure cover man much more, but PP's versatility sure is alluring.

I agree, he won't unless the teams make QB grabs. Harder to do with Luck gone. I have always said I think we will trade up to grab him. Somewhere between 5 and 7.

If I had to guess , this will be the route Jerry takes to fix the OL. He will use some late round picks and sign a couple of JAG free agents. Dallas scouts have been to a couple of Clemson games this year. I am sure Hairston was one of the reasons.

My pet cat is Eastern Washington RB Taiwan Jones. He's got a history of nagging injuries, including a foot that kept him out of the FCS Championship game this year. But that concern will push him to the middle of the draft, where a RB makes more sense for us. He's not small or slight (6'0, 190) and does not fumble, period... Fastest, most explosive player in FCS without question and his running style reminds me of a blend of Felix Jones and Dorsett. Enjoy:

Pouncey- but I hope we can trade down a bit and get a 3rd or 4th.
We have O Line issues but can buy insurance in Pouncey that covers Gurode, Kosier, and Davis with a quality, physical lineman. We don't know if we will resign Kosier or cut Davis and we need to have a Gurode replacement as well very soon. I think we should add Pouncey and Mankins actually. Pouncey is the best Guard in the draft who also plays center. Romo is our biggest investment so this insurance is critical IMO. Not sexy, but secure.

this draft is deep in OL and 3-4 ends they are holes we could fill later IMO . at 9 if a PP is there no dount you take him we need another team to fall in love with another WR or QB to want to jump to our spot in case he isnt, Because i hope we dont waste the no 9 pick on a cam jordan or tyron smith i would only want to take one of those guys if we traded down
