That's about what I was expecting ever since I saw Donald would be playing in the SR Bowl. I have every confidence that he will play/practice well all week. The guy has done it against everyone he's faced in college when he wasn't being double and triple teamed.

He is plenty quick but he also used leverage very well and is strong as heck. You expect him to out quick Richardson, but you don't really expect him to put him on his back, but he did.

Fantastic player.

Justin Ellis continued to impress today. That train keeps on going. Don't typecast him as a LOS NT.

I didn't see the West practice but a bunch of scouts were buzzing about Princeton DT Caraun Reid.

CSU Center Weston Richburg is a solid player on tape and he had a good day today...Quick feet, balance and anchor.

Big fan of Northern Illinois safety Jimmie Ward. Lacks ideal size but he's very instinctive and he has the fluidity to cover the slot.

Cyril had no answers for Aaron Donald today. Very difficult matchup for him. As I wrote prior to the week, Brandon Thomas > Richardson.

RT @NU_Gap: Attaochu who was slightly faster at getting to the QB (3.56 seconds) on sacks than last year's fastest - Mingo 3.63 secs

Billy Turner will get yelled at for tech, but his functional strength is great. Like that he’s getting snaps at G too.

Dee Fords burst is ridiculous. And he flashed hand use and leverage this year.

All of Sutton’s movements have purpose. Wrist control. Lift. Outside step to get G to overset.

I have no clue why they are putting Attaochu in space. This isn’t where he wins.

Not a surprise that McCullers is noticeably stiffer than all other DL on this squad.

1. DT Aaron Donald was an unstoppable force on Monday. Like his play all season, the Pitt defensive tackle was extremely quick in drills and was relentless from snap to whistle. His burst and anticipation off the snap and active energy to fight through and around blocks make him tough for any blocker to handle. Donald repeatedly victimized Baylor OG Cyril Richardson at practice, winning with leverage, hustle and fluidity that Richardson has likely never seen before on the football field. Donald's skill-set is ideal for one-on-one drills so he should shine, but the NFL team that drafts him will get a really good football player.

2. I feel for the wide receivers on the North team due to the inconsistency from all three quarterbacks on the roster. Miami QB Stephen Morris, Virginia Tech QB Logan Thomasand Clemson QB Tajh Boyd were all inconsistent on day one, which was almost expected after the up-and-down senior seasons of all three. Boyd in particular struggled with accuracy and his ball placement is a strong concern. Thomas threw a few pretty passes that hit receivers between the numbers, but other fastballs hit the ground or sailed over his intended target. The good news for this group? The only place to go from here is up.

I'm screaming for DL in this draft (Donald), but the idea of having a Mewhort and Thomas combo could really solidify the Oline. Curious to see where those two are projected after the Bowl game and Combine.

Sutton's issue is he had a terrible senior season highlighted by a non-existent showing int he Bowl game to end his career.
He needed to some in at least 10 pounds lighter IMHO.

I think for the current Cowboys he is a round three/four 1T only.
He could play the run but he'll get limited push and provide no real pass rush.
Can hold his ground at LOS though so not useless.

A much better Hayden imho.

NCAAF: Henderson's career on the line at Senior Bowl

07:37 AM ET 01.21 | As a high school senior at Cretin-Derham Hall in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, big Seantrel Henderson, who now measures 6-foot-8 and nearly 350 pounds, was considered the top offensive football prospect in the nation -- and now he's a senior again, a college senior who will play in the Senior Bowl under different expectations. The oft-suspended Hurricanes right tackle possesses very good size and length. While he also has good agility, he is not technically sound as a run blocker or pass protector. Perhaps the biggest thing he needs to prove to scouts is increased maturity. The 2009 USA Today high school offensive player of the year can rise up draft boards if he shows that he's focused on becoming a better player and leader.
