Awesome post! I still have 50-100 of those pencils in storage. Anyone remember the video game pencils from around the same period (80-82)? I have some of those as well (sparkled -- Pacman, Galaxian, etc.).

True story, I gave one of those NFL pencils to a girl I liked in 4th grade. She accepted my gift, then left me high and dry, but the joke was on her -- it was a Jets pencil.

How many of you guys remember these? Props to anyone who can find a pic of the lined Cowboys pencil (solids don't count).

I remember those and had every team. I also had every team of those little plastic helmets - remember those? Same era - time frame. Circa 1975-76 ish.
