Run Forrest Run...Sensabaugh! That's what he looked like on that play he got burned on for the 1st TD. He never did look for the ball...thought he was going to run to Alabama....and just keep running. It would have been comical if it wasn't our player doing it. It was not totally his fault on that play, btw. TNew failed miserably underneath and left Sensabaugh naked over the top. You would never want him one on one vs Rice.

In the end, I do think Sensabaugh was an asset this year.

I don't think there's any chance at all that he'll be available.
yeah the Colts will probably resign him and get rid of Bob Sanders. I just want a playmaking safety so bad. our safeties don't give up a lot of plays but they also don't make many plays either.

Those are definite selling points in bringing someone back -- he didn't do too bad this year and I'd love to see him play again with two hands. The only way I would let Sensabaugh go is if I knew for certain I was drafting Eric Berry in April, but I believe it to be a foregone conclusion that's not going to happen.

Sign him to 3 or 4 years is my vote. Not too many guys out there coming on the market better than Sensabaugh, especially if Mike Hamlin is able to unseat Ken in camp this offseason.

You can never have too many decent-to-good-to-great DBs in this passing era.

:hammer:

He's better than what we've had at that position for several years now. I have to think if he could play with both hands he'd have done even better.

Sensabaugh was the one who allowed the first long touchdown yesterday -- was sleeping on the play (in the playoffs). Has been average at best all year and now wants a long term deal.... No way.

Why should Dallas offer big bucks and long term deals to average players? Dallas needs to build through the draft and stop wasting money on free agents who want big bucks and then under perform.

I think several other teams have the right model....sign players to a good first contract and then if they want really big bucks, let them leave and draft a replacement. Most players do not perform after they make big bucks (2nd contract).

GS has been the best SS we've had in 5 years. I'm not overrating him as an all-pro or anything but he's an upgrade over what we had. Not knowing how much he actually wants, i'd definitely bring him back for the right price. having said that, it isn't like we broke the bank to bring him in this year. He, Brooking and Igor were all very good value IMO.

How quickly some people forget about the days of Roy 31 and the long TD plays and the finger pointing afterwards.

1st sensible comment I've seen. He's a SS running stride for stride with Minn's best WR. Yes, he should have looked back but that happens..that's why he's a SS not Cb. I bet he plays better next yr with TWO hands instead of one.

Since Sensabaugh is tipping his hand and saying he wants to stay in Dallas, maybe JJ can get a favorable deal done for both sides.

Anyway, worst case he's a RFA, correct?

I would love to know at what point GS realized the Vikes had scored a TD on that play yesterday. Not only did he not defend as the ball came in, he never appeared to be aware that Rice had the ball and scored.

Sensabaugh getting schooled by that Viking WR won't help his cause too much.
But Jerra has a big heart. I think he will get a long-term contract.

I have never seen anything like that in my life.

He actually escorts Rice to the goal line.

I'm positive he thought somebody else caught the ball. It must have been a split second thing, where he not only missed the ball dropping in, but blinked his eyes and didn't even notice Rice trying to make a play for the ball. I have no idea.

I'm fine with giving him a reasonable contract as it's unlikely that any rookie will be an upgrade. I'm all for Myron Rolle if available after round three.

That play cost him some dough.

I would like to see him resigned, even though he got owned yesterday(by Rice btw who was on fire, who always beat Jenkins) he's been solid throughout the year.
