What a classless jackarse. I can't even describe what she did tonight.

Yeah she makes Johnny Mac and Connors look like choirboys

Child Please
She makes Ilie Nastase look like a chiorboy.

she's ugly too
She's a little masculine, but Id still give her the business.

And yeah, I was a little surprised by that. I know her and her sister both have tempers, but I've never seen her do anything like that.

Does anyone know if she actually DID step on the line?

The one article I read said that she didn't.

I saw a video from behind so it wasn't a good angle but Serenas heel moved sideways, not like it usually does (straight up and down) and it mightve looked like to the line judge that her foot moved on it.

This. Whole thing is overblown.

I think what made Serena's actions bad was when she went back after the line judge the second time.

Regardless of what was said, that was overkill to me.

I don't think she should be suspended from future Opens, though. She's not the first tennis player to go off in a tennis match, nor will she be the last.

I thought it was pretty funny. I never thought i'd ever see her get that mad. she scared the crap out of that little asian woman:laugh2:

Exactly

No it's not.

How do you see it?

I don't know if overblown is the right word. She deserved the point penalty. She deserved the $10K fine. I think seeking a suspension or any larger fine would be way too much for the situation. Her tirade was bad, but not that bad.

I think that the real issue here is the fact that the line judge claims that Williams threatened here. Now, depending on if that is true and what the threat might have been, that would justify such a suspension IMO. If there is nothing to the claim of threat, then I don't believe she should be suspended. JMO

I just can't take a threat that serious in a moment of heat like that. In sports people mouth off, but few ever even attempt to follow through. From what I heard on ESPN I did not hear a threat.

i really dont think she should be suspended, just let the fine be and move on with your lives. Maybe just have her on a shorter leashe per se in the future, so if she has any outbursts she will be suspended, fined, etc
