Yeah, but Tyson is nuts and has been for a long time. I read a lot of news on it when he was convicted of rape and sentenced to prison (there was enormous doubt in that case BTW, if that trial had been someplace besides Indiana he wouldn't have been convicted) Tyson said he didn't do the crime, but had done plenty of things that deserved four years in the slam. Everyone around him has said the same thing, while everyone around Hardy have said he is a good guy and good teammate, though more than a little bit flaky.

Your so right.......but we all know if you call up a woman and she come over at 2 am she not coming to just cuddle and play Monopoly, but like you said I am fully confident Tyson did enough in his life to add up to a couple years in prison, so to me it was Karma catching and humbling him.

He needs a Charles Johnson type player at the other DE position like he had in Carolina... I wouldn't be mad if we re-signed Hardy and still used our first pick on the best pass-rusher available in the draft, although I think a stud DT would help the team more...

I can live with that.

No more side stories with Hardy though...

Only complaining I want to hear is from QBs...."he hit me really, really hard" or "he tackled me and I saw stars" lol

It was also the classic case of the girl being very happy and affectionate, then filing rape charges when the rich celebrity told her they weren't going to be dating going forward. It was also an all white jury in Indiana, with an ex-marine jury foreman. They jury stayed out for a long time and there was speculation that the jury foreman brow beat some of the other jurors into a guilty verdict.

Tyson said he was innocent but deserved prison time for things he had done but never been prosecuted for - and IMO he was right.

Also this is anecdotal but on Tyson being nuts, he was at my Gym in LA 5 or 6 years ago. He stood outside the glass looking into the yoga class and ...umm... touched himself.

I think that DLawrence and RGregory are plenty if paired with GHardy. GHardy can slide inside on passing downs to get everyone on the field.

Add in the Crawfords, Irving, Russell, Mincey and a 1T in the draft and that is a top DL.

Agree, and I think Gregory, Irving and Russell are all going to be much better as 2nd year players when they know the playbook and have more weight room work.

They aren't lining up Hardy with a 3T next to him many snaps now. DLaw was getting protected by 98 a lot vs skins.
