Settling for FGs won’t get it done in the playoffs

I guess people either forgot or didn't watch the game vs the Lions in 2011.

We were winning 27-3 in the 3rd Quarter. JG had Romo still chuck it around when Murray was ripping off 5 yards per carry. Romo ended up throwing 2 pick sixes in a row. We ended up losing 34-30.

That's why Garrett sucks and no longer coaching in the NFL.

I'm convinced there's something in the water for some of your water supplies

The Jets were possible SB contenders with Rodgers. Why? Cause they have a great defense and finally got a good QB, or did.

Dallas didn't have to force the ball in the half and were willing to take the 3 points. They had a 2 score lead in the 2nd half vs an anemic offense that was under duress.
What people fail to understand is winning a game by 1 pt is just as much a win as by 40 pts. You get zero wins in the NFL based on style....

And it's why KM is 0-2

I would argue that the cowboys played it perfect today. We have the best defense in the nfl. As long as dak isn’t throwing picks we win. Add Tyler and cooks back to the offense and we can really make it tough on opposing teams.

No. But throwing for 2 TD's plus those 5 FG's will beat any team in the NFL with the way our D is playing.

Lord have mercy on some of you people. Wow!

You said "Cool then I guess the defense will have to do."

As if the offense didn't do anything. Seems you fail to appreciate that 30 points is a good day in the NFL, and esp. good against a top-five defense.
I was being facetious to whoever is crying about this team.

Deep breaths.

You are forgetting that those teams also have defenses that will keep the game a lot more closer. Less margin of error. When the defense turns the ball over the offense needs to execute and come away with 6 more often than not.
Eagles defense is nowhere close to the Jets

Not really. Herbert hasn't thrown a pick in two games, they've scored 58 points, and they're 0-2. Their defense sucks.

True, but it seems like the plays still develop a while. At least from what some Chargers fans seem to be saying.

The good news is in a few weeks Dallas faces the whiners. Hopefully Mike helps resolve some red zone issues and honestly if Tyler is back that may be who Pollard needs to help get him in from short.

We have a long time before the playoffs. It would be nice however to get the percentage of TD vs FG up a little before we play SF and LAC back to back in the road.

But but but … we want it!

Winning isn’t enough. We need to win in dominant, historical fashion.
