I for one actually think it is refreshing to see a coach recognize the game situation and make sensible decisions based on it.McCarthy realize we were playing Zach Wlison and not Aaron Rodgers so he was playing the field goal game and relying on the defense, which was smart for this particular game.
Beinig aggressive against that Jets D is a quick way to turn the ball over and shift momentum, which is what happened against Buffalo.
The only way that NY was going to get back in that game is if Dallas got aggressive for no reason and turned the ball over. In that case, going conservative and winning the game by "only" 20 was the best way to get the job done.
We haven't had a real coach in Dallas for some time and now that we do people don't know what they are witnessing.
