McCarthy realize we were playing Zach Wlison and not Aaron Rodgers so he was playing the field goal game and relying on the defense, which was smart for this particular game.

Beinig aggressive against that Jets D is a quick way to turn the ball over and shift momentum, which is what happened against Buffalo.
I for one actually think it is refreshing to see a coach recognize the game situation and make sensible decisions based on it.

The only way that NY was going to get back in that game is if Dallas got aggressive for no reason and turned the ball over. In that case, going conservative and winning the game by "only" 20 was the best way to get the job done.

We haven't had a real coach in Dallas for some time and now that we do people don't know what they are witnessing.

Playing safe, working clock, and protecting the ball while still generating points is the difference between the Cowboys winning and the Bills losing to that team.

The negative was having to settle for too many FG‘s today. The positive we may have found a kicker who will be here for a while.

If the defense holds teams to 5 pts per game in the playoffs, FGs will get it done. Especially if we continue to score 35 pts per game.

Except when we were on the 1 yard line and got cute, I thought McCarthy called a great game. You don't take chances when you've got the game in hand. No turnovers. Win and move on.

There's still 15 games to play. Stop worrying about the playoffs. Just enjoy that they've won two stress free games already.
