The focal point of this offense should be multiple weapons.

They have two good RB's, 1 good TE and a promising rookie, 2 good WR's, when Gallup is healthy, and a promising rookie.

What makes Shanahan's offense work is the D doesn't know where the ball is going. He is very good at getting his weapons, Kittle, Aiyuk and Samuel the ball in a position to do something with it.

The challenge is not with the players, it is with the HC and OC.

That ability of Shanahan's to utilize those passing weapons in space begins with having a strong run game.

The problem with making Zeke your focal point is he’ll run out of steam by week 8 and the sad state of our WR corp means a lot of 8 man fronts

Zeke's highest rush count is around 322 in 2016. Emmitt surpassed that mark like six times during his days. Troy's winning percentage skyrocketed when Emmett had 20 carries. When Zeke and Pollard combine for 100 yards Dak's winning percentage skyrockets. Our racing attack should be the focal point of our offense, just like it was when Troy was here. But, in order to do that we need a very good offensive line like Emmitt had. Zeke had that in 2016. It's sad that Jerry and Co. have let the line fall so far.

To tell you the truth I wanted Dallas to keep La'el Collins then draft Tyler Smith (1) and Abraham Lucas (2). I wanted us to build the line up to sustain the loss of two starters. A dominant offensive line is what made the '90's teams so great.
