I can't believe we are going into the season with such a shaky kicking situation. I am not sure I trust those guys.
We will have to wait and see how they kick in Dallas. Very difficult to kick in the winds of Oxnard.I can't believe we are going into the season with such a shaky kicking situation. I am not sure I trust those guys.
Feels exactly like last year.I can't believe we are going into the season with such a shaky kicking situation. I am not sure I trust those guys.
Sometimes there just aren't enough good ones to go around. Even if you draft one there's no guarantee they're gonna be up to snuff. So you dig up what you can find.I can't believe we are going into the season with such a shaky kicking situation. I am not sure I trust those guys.
I mean we haven’t had a preseason game yet. Not sure if it’s a forgone conclusion these are the guys.I can't believe we are going into the season with such a shaky kicking situation. I am not sure I trust those guys.
Man seems like the drafted ones suck lol. The Tampa Bay kicker was out the league. Aguayo was a second rounder.Sometimes there just aren't enough good ones to go around. Even if you draft one there's no guarantee they're gonna be up to snuff. So you dig up what you can find.
Bro, it's just as windy outside on the practice field at The Star in Frisco, TX. My ex-mother-in-law's sister lives in Oxnard. I went to the first few Cowboys training camps in Oxnard, CA (2001 & 2004) at the very same River Ridge Playing Fields, and the winds in Oxnard weren't any stronger than the constant winds we have throughout Texas. We will have to wait and see how they kick in Dallas. Very difficult to kick in the winds of Oxnard.
Kickers are lower on the totem pole than RBs.We will have to wait and see how they kick in Dallas. Very difficult to kick in the winds of Oxnard.
Kickers haven’t been devalued. It’s not like good kickers are a dime a dozen. You can lose a number of games if you don’t have a consistent kicker. A lot of games come down to kickers.Kickers are lower on the totem pole than RBs.
They did fine last year. They ended up with a good kicking game during the season.Feels exactly like last year.
Hopefully we find a solution, but it is crazy to think about how vulnerable we are for the 2nd year in a row in the kicking dept.
That sounds about right.Almost a year ago that Dallas worked out kickers and signed Maher. I would expect some similar activity in the not too distant future.
It seems like most drafted kickers don't work out.Sometimes there just aren't enough good ones to go around. Even if you draft one there's no guarantee they're gonna be up to snuff. So you dig up what you can find.
Maher had a good season last year. He helped them win some games. The Cowboys have had a shaky kicker situation ever since Dan Bailey lost his mojo. We’re looking for at least our fourth kicker since he left.
Vulnerable?? How lmao Brett Maher was a top three kicker in the league last year,, kicked it 90%. his only misses were over 55 yards he was a top kicker and people wanted him gone just because he had one truly shaky game with point after attempts..Feels exactly like last year.
Hopefully we find a solution, but it is crazy to think about how vulnerable we are for the 2nd year in a row in the kicking dept.
He was real good for most of the season until he ran into PAT problems when the playoffs were approaching. That’s why he’s no longer here and we’re looking for another kicker.Maher had a good season last year. He helped them win some games.
