Shan: Hearing an offer to Schottenheimer is coming

I've watched practically every game over the past 20 or so years, but it's gonna be tough for me to watch next year. This would be worse than Moore, at least Moore has shown something in this league. Schottenheimer was awful in Seattle, awful with the jets... and he hasn't been great here.

Schottenheimer has been in the building for two seasons. I'm sure the Jones boys know him well. He isn't a new commodity to the Cowboys.

So, the rumors of him receiving an offer coming out before he even interviewed isn't as farfetched to me. The interview may be just a formality.

Marty Schottenheimer last coached in 2006. He is dead now.

If we're bringing back an offense from the 2000s, from a dead guy, that never won anything, we're in more trouble than anyone imagined.

I don't know what would be more disturbing, hiring your OC before the HC, or hiring him to be the head coach lol.

As I posted few times, I'm not advocating he hire him. But If you want to win playoff games with Dak, we are going to need to play Marty ball and not have Dak sling it 35-40 times a game. Who ever we hire needs to understand this. If someone like KM is hired, I guarantee you we are going to see the same crap show we saw in past playoff games. We are not going to win many playoff games vs better teams with Dak chucking it 40 times a game.
