I don't find you annoying but I find this team's mentality annoying!..this is what we talked about at T/C this year....we hung out with RR and Raphael in Oxnard and discussed the fact that unless we see huge changes in the mindset of this team, we are headed to 8-8 again
The simple fact is that Jerruh has pushed Cowboy fans to accept mediocrity by coming out over and over with the same old rah rah banter and that we are only a couple of players away from a championship when the facts show different ...this latest Monday Night game was a perfect example of it:
The defense could not hold up when needed, twice allowed long drives when a stop would have changed the face of the game, are we the only defense in the NFL that can't hide a weakness? Our safeties and lack of a pass rusher not named Ware are so well documented, you would think we would find a scheme that would help, we don't try to change it up, go to a 4-3 look? a 46? Nope, we play the same 2 under gap/ flip flop Ware and when he moves to the weak side, the TE comes back in motion and chips him...but we were #1 going into the game!!!! Look at the Qb's we played and the fact we had 6 months to get ready for game 1.....but pass the kool aid
Play calling and adaptation the OC refused to change it up and kept using the same calls/blocking schemes and when that didn't work? Give up on the run entirely? Gee, where did I hear/see that before? It was 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011...and now it's starting again? But...but ..it's the new o line, they will get better.......no.....they suck, but why not go to 3 step drops, mis-directions? I understand that Murray is getting hit every play, but damn, a draw, using spread offense ......anything new, but no, we use the same line blocking schemes, Romo has to make all the line calls and audible out and wait until the last 2 seconds before we snap the ball....but we will get better...kool aid
Facts are we are not well coached, or if we are, we are a stupid team because we can't seem to get past the stupid mental mistakes or be at the right place, or line up right, and then when we make a mistake, we don't have the mental make up ....but we have the RKG ...more kool aid
Simple fact is Shango is right here, the Boys have been spinning their wheels in the same spot and make excuses...the early Jerruh years were not like this at all....remember " We will win, we mst win".....now Jerruh makes excuses, Garrett makes excuses, Romo makes excuses and all are so damn P/C anymore, I can't stand listening to it...and before you tell me I'm not a Cowboy fan, I am a die hard fan that's tired of the kool aid
