Sorry, felt like it was necessary to clarify the subject right off the bat...

Anyway, how do you shave? Electric? Disposable razor? The latest greatest quintuple bladed doo-hickey? Straight razor? Hunting knife over a campfire? (this is how I imagine Hos doing it)

Normally I am in a hurry and just use my trusty Mach 3 while showering. I bought a ton of blades for it off eBay for cheap and they've lasted me a long time.

When I'm not in a hurry though, I'll go through the whole routine with the shaving soap, brush and cool old Gillette Fat Boy safety razor my bro in law gifted me. It takes a little longer and a little time to get used to using the razor, but when I've got the time, it's worth it.

How about you?

I have a Wahl trimmer that I use without a guard and the swing arm on the lowest setting. (basically leaving me with what amounts to a 72 hour shadow) Then I use a Mach 3 to clean up around the edges. (neck, high cheek, etc) I do both about once every 3-5 days.

Since I do such limited shaving. (just the edges and about once a week) My blades last a very long time.

I use an Andis T-Outliner trimmer for the face and Mach 3 for the head! For whatever reason I cannot shave my face w/ a razor without being infested by razor bumps! My scalp can handle it as long as I don't go against the grain!

I had a Braun once. It couldn't deal with the stubble under my chin, so I went back to razors.

I have one and have had issues shaving any curved areas like the neck and getting a clean shave. I used to have a Norelco with the round floating shaving heads vs the long bars and they did a much better job on the neck area.

The best shave has always been a razor so that is what I use now.

Mach 3.

And while we are on the subject, is it not ridiculous how much these damn things cost now?

As noted, I have a Braun with the long bars on it. My wife paid over $100 for it for my birthday a couple of years back and I don't use it at all because it fails in producing a good shave.

Talk about feeling ripped off.

This is what I do. I have a trimmer that I do my face with. I have lighter facial hair so I can get away with not shaving all the way down. It gets it down to very small stubble so it's passable enough. I haven't shaved my face with a razor in years. I'm sure if I tried now I'd look like Eli Manning after that hit last night.

It's ok. It's about the best electric razor I've used.

If you use a blade stropping it on your forearm willl make it last much longer.

Yes I went old school with the brush and it is a faster shave then any other dame blade

Blades are cheap sharper and a better shave period

Phillips Electric.

Any of you shave anything other than your face? Head, chest, nether regions, pits or legs?
