Eagles placed RT Shawn Andrews on IR this morning. Winston Justice is now the starting RT. Saw this on fanball.com.

And my bet that Runyan ends up in Philly gets a bit stronger...

well should we sign runyan before the eagles do and let proctor go if we cant trade proctor? That way eagles dont get runyan, we have a good backup in runyan if columbo needs some rest. I am not sold on mcquistan for a backup at ROT.

I think it's a moot point.

The Cowboys won't pursue Runyan and he wants to sign with the Eagles anyway.

I think his visits are simply an effort to get a better deal out of the Eagles.

The Jets made him an offer a few years ago, he took it back to Philadelphia and took less money to stay there.

He's doing the same thing this time around.

And if you're looking to replace McQuistan, why not let him go if you sign someone else?

Not that I'd have any problems releasing Procter, but if you're replacing your backup RT, release your backup RT.

I think Damion McIntosh is still out there, I'd look at him.

"churn baby, churn!"

wow. Andrews was a guy I really wanted in the draft... I think BP loved him as well. his time in Philly may be ending

dumb question I'm sure, but does I.R. mean he's out for the entire year?

lets pray that they keep with Justice up to the point where we play them, and then line D-Ware up on him every single play.

Drats! Double Darn, I was hoping we could sign Runyan, so the eagles dont get him. Runyan is nasty like Columbo. thats exactly what we need on our offensive line to rub some off on bigg leonard davis and gurode.

Someone told me once, the only dumb question is the one that wasnt asked. How would you know if you dont ask. Yes, I. R. means injured reserve, done for the year.

Me too, remember in fact, thats the player that parcells wanted, and when the eagles jumped up in front of us to draft him, parcells traded out of the first round that year.

That is not correct.

A dumb question is one where the person asking has not made any attempt to seek the answer on their own.

Yep.

Huge loss for them -- Andrews is a great player.

Like someone was saying, you wonder if his career is about over. He's had problems with depression and many wonder how much he wants to play.

As for Runyan... He's tough but he's also completely worn out and used up. Guts only get you so far when your body breaks down.

Let's hope Winston Justice's start goes as well as his last start when he replaced Tre Thomas at left tackle and gave up 6 sacks to Umenyiora.

I thought first that it was his brother Stacey, which I don't think would be that big of a deal. This is important, but I am sure Runyan, like Garcia, may get recalled.

Agreed about Runyan. McIntosh was getting a look in Seattle, so I doubt he's even a consideration.

All of this talk about Proctor and McQuistan needs to stop. I doubt either is going anywhere. There is absolutely nothing that indicates the team is nearly as dissatisfied as the fanbase. That's just the simple truth. Nobody is going to ride to our depth rescue.

Understand Alexander, but I was always under the impression like Parcells said once, you always churn the bottom of your roster. That way the guys on the bottom dont get complacent and realize if they dont produce, they wont be on the team. Its like competition, you always are better for having players that can produce and compete, which makes you a better player.
