What is Shawn Springs stand-point after the NE visit? And how good of a chance is it that he will sign with Dallas?

I don't know, but I think dallas will just be content of the four corners we have now, with probably drafting one in the later rounds. I have not heard at all of Dallas being interested in Springs, because if they were the deal probably would have been done by now.

Yea, good point, but we need more help than a late pick, i hope he wants to be a 'boy like his dad.

We've got to replace Henry and Jones.

Odds are good he is going to be one of the two.

If Springs doesn't sign with Dallas, don't be surprised if we go after Drayton Florence to be the 4th or 5th corner since he is a Wade guy. We will draft one of two corners in the draft.

NE is a championship caliber club, so if they show him the $, it'll take more than sentimentality to get him to Dallas.

No more old guys... I think Dallas has done enough of damage in that department. Springs is too injury prone.

While i hope we do something, either in the draft or in FA to replace Henry and Jones, i really want to see jenkins and especially scandrick given the chance to take the next step next year and possibly start. I think both of them had a great showing last year and want to see how they are with a year under their belt.

If we were counting on him to start I might agree. As the #4, that isn't going to be a big issue for me.

IF springs is signed, whenever he is healthy, he WILL be our #2 Corner. PERIOD.

I tend to agree Springs is too good to be a 4th CB. He's better than Henry and he started for us. If Springs comes in, he starts until he gets hurt I would think. If it was an open compition in camp Springs would win the job.

I doubt it. He isnt as talented at this point of his career as either Jenkins or Scandrick.

If Springs is signed and ends up starting for us I bet its at FS.

Springs won't be a starting CB in Dallas unless we are really hurt by injuries to TNew, Jenkins or Scandrick.

i want scandrick and newman as our two corners.

i think jenkins would make a good free safety.

I guess you missed the two times lasy year where he turned around and ran away from having to make a tackle. I liked his coverage skills but he looked more adverse to contact than deion sanders ever did. That doesn't bode well for a safety!

Well if New England is in the running we're likely out of the running now. We'll probably never see him in Dallas.

Why are we so quick to dismiss our first day picks from ever cracking the starting lineup these days?

So he'll fly in and see his father like he did when he was playing in Washington. I honestly don't see him considering us when New England is after him. I hope I'm wrong though.
