Shedeur Sanders stock on the slide

This is the Deion effect. It will make him a target for fair or unfair criticism in the pros, too.

I think he's going to be a good player but I would certainly be wary of investing a top 5 pick. I think he'll have a Kirk Cousins type career.
Or a Lance career

I think he's gonna have to eat a lot of humble pie. No matter who takes him.
NFL will do that........funny thing is his dad of all people should know this. He instead is inflating the kid's ego thinking he is better than he is and doesn't have to work as hard. Todd McShay says he turned off a few teams during the interview process coz he came across like he didn't care or they were wasting his time.

I only saw 2 of his games and both times he looked like Capt. Crappo.

What am I missing?
I saw too many high risk passes, too many bad reads, inaccurate throws, and too much hero ball. All from a guy with an average arm, huge ego, wears diamonds on the field literally. Too much Hollywood crap. He ain't worth it unless you can get him in rd 2, then let him sit and learn how to be a pro. Falling to rd 2 might help humble him, and go out , prove something. He acts like he's a made man already. I can't stand that. We don't need more players like that.

Exactly

He's Dieon at Qb and that just doesn't work. He's got the arrogance and aloofness which is fine at CB bc those guys play on an island by themselves. A QB has to be popular with his teammates and bring the offense together. He has to command respect. It just seems like a lot of hype here b/c of his dad. He doesn't have a big arm. He reminds me of Penix Jr but not as talented.

Honestly, Deion was a generational talent. Once fans, media and NFL circles understood that, he was untouchable. He could say and do damn near anything he wanted coz his talent dominated. The NFL cares about one thing........prove how good you are. Sexy, flashy or showmanship don't mean anything on the field.

The times I saw him, he couldn't hit water from the end of Wigan pier.

Shedeur Sanders’ draft stock has slid a little bit and 6 is the “earliest” he could be drafted, according to @TonyPauline

“Teams are cooling on Shedeur Sanders for a number of reasons. The first being that Sanders showed little to no improvement in his game last season and made some poor choices. People are also a little turned off by the antics since January.”

It comes up to me like playing tough. Authenticity in question
