Sheduer dropping like a lead weight

It’s interesting though Archie was just as controlling to the point telling teams don’t take his son….still didn’t stop anything.
Agree but Deion and Shedure's circumstances were different

*** Eli was a consensus 1st overall pick/prospect
*** By the end of his senior year, Eli had won a multitude of awards in the SEC
*** If I remember correctly, Archie threatened to have Eli sit out a year and re-enter the draft.

*** Shedure won a few routine games at Colorado and Jackson
*** Deion told certain teams last year he would not let Shedure play for them. A couple of months before the draft, he started backtracking.
*** Word is he bypassed the Browns GM and HC and went straight to the owner with a plan for them to draft Hunter 2nd overall and come back into the round and draft Shedure.
*** Deion has created so much negative around this kid it's going to be hard for him to get a legit shot.
*** Noticed how quickly Hunter and his people distanced themselves

So sorry your hero is dropping. Did Will Levis refuse to meet with teams because he didn't think they would draft him later than the 3rd pick? Was Will Levis one of the worst interviews than teams had ever interviewed as was reported? And I doubt Levis's father will be constantly questioning his coach in the media when he doesn't give Will his way. These were TOO EASY.
What about certain GMs asking potential draft prospects did their mother's use to prostitute. That's ok I guess

clearly you have not been paying attention to the circus that is around him.
So now you claim there is some kind of conspiracy.
BS
1) he is not that big; does not have that big of an arm
2) he did not exactly blow the world apart with production
3) he has frankly been seen to be entitled and have an attitude problem
4) the pain in the *** that is Deion.

THAT is why he has not been chosen yet
He was projected #1 pick 1 month ago not 2 years ago but 1 month ago. I guess Dillon Gabiel all of 5'10 has pro FB strengths. Watch Manning have a sub par year, 2 years riding bench and go #1. On what, name. Lol

I don’t know man..while I agree it’s not identical situations there are some parallels.

I think the league wanted to see Shedeur kiss the ring and he didn’t. Probably felt he didn’t have to. And he wasn’t good enough to do that apparently.

He for sure is. Everyone is projecting him to go 1st next year with no starts lol. Because they know if he enters he will no matter how bad or good he looks.

Lets see how he handles being a 5th round pick...........coz it's not about social media or PR. It's earning the respect of teammates and coaches.

I agree. But he’s going to the worse possible franchise to do it. I didn’t care for him myself but I’m rooting for him now. All of these guys. Even Ewers.

I can't believe Deion would be so stupid to say something like that given what had happen to his son in the draft.

Eat a big slice of humble pie, learn, move on and grow...
I agree and to be honest, I'm not 100% convinced Deion said it with all the AI bs out there now

If I'm the Browns ..........I don't need this baggage. I'm cutting him now and moving on

This kind of helicopter parenting is probably a chunk of the reason he dropped so far. If you draft shedder, you are brung Dieon into the building with him. The Raiders were told flat out by Brady not to draft him. Brady tutored the kid and was very familiar with him. Pittsburgh and NYG spent a ton of time and resources evaluating him. They passed.

So, if the sentiment in the NFL was such, how did all of these draft publications and prognosticators miss so badly? Kiper was obviously the most irate b/c he's been doing this the longest and was apparently lied to about sentiment around the league on this kid........ lied to by a LOT of people.

Not sure what a question from a over a decade ago has to do with this but ok. He dropped because he turned off most teams in his interviews and on film. Not because of some clandestine conspiracy. The reasons continue to come out. And isn't ot funny that the team his father said he didn't want him playing for is the team who drafted him. And the war room in Cleveland looked sooooo happy to be getting him. But hey according to you Jeff Ireland is why he dropped. Wow

not my problem you cannot see reality

Did that help him in coaching, where everyone doubted him?

Deion was a successful 2-sport athlete, a huge pop culture success, a Division 1 college football coach.

While he was a naturally gifted football player, he willed himself into being a workaday major league baseball player. He was a very smart player, a hard worker, and a student of the game. He was arrogant, but he backed it up.
Yes. Doesn't fit my post, but sure.

You missed the big one. Eli had a great arm. Sheshe has poor arm strength.

Dillon Gabriel would've been the 1st pick in the draft if he weren't a midget and 800 yrs old. Dude is a football player, compared to Purdy. Much much much better prospect than slack armed Sheshe.

So, think about this. Who exactly projected him as the #1 pick? The TV spewers, maybe? Because that's not what I saw. Take away the name, and he sounds like a 3-6 round talent, which is where he went.

I think he wound up in a terrible spot. Clev doesn’t have an established starter and that coach has a good record with qbs though.

Cleveland is just a place qbs go to die. Plus the northern teams who play outside are a tough place to play. You need and who are strong and big and can play in the wind and snow. In the afc east, all the teams are typically physical and you have 8 games outside in the division. Typically qbs who succeed are the big, physical guys. Josh Allen being the best of these. Sanders would have been much better going west or to a done stadium where his skills would be better suited.

Have you ever seen such a large discrepancy between mock drafts and the actual draft slot for a Qb? I haven't. These guys have league contacts and they don't miss like this. It just doesn't happen. Every mock had Sheduer in the top 10 let alone round 5. If it was a talent issue, then it would have been obvious to everyone. This was something else.

Sheduer, played outside in Colorado. plenty of snow games. Pretty sure he'll be ok in Cleveland.

Cleveland is the perfect spot for him. He will have opportunity to play with zero expectations. Those fans have survived the Deshawn Watson debacle. Sheduer could disappoint them more? No way. Zero pressure on the kid.
