Sherrington replies to my email.

This morning I sent the following email to Kevin Sherrington concerning a mistake he made in his column today. I wasn't expecting a reply but he did. I'll give him props for that.

Please check your facts. In you column you posted on September 4th at 10:40 PM you state:
But Patterson's now one of only two coaches in the Lone Star State to beat Bob Stoops, and one of them still isn't Mack Brown.

This is untrue. In 1999 Brown beat Stoops' OU team 38-28.

Tonight Sherrington replied with the following email:

Kevin:

Of course, you're absolutely right, and I'm an idiot. Not only that, but Spike Dykes beat Stoops in 99 as well. A monumental mistake. A correction is running in Tuesday's paper.
