More than six decades after a Southern Indiana high school student misplaced her purse, she's getting it back, along with her lipstick and an invitation to the prom from an admirer.
Workers demolishing the former Jeffersonville High School building to make way for a new elementary school found the perfectly preserved time capsule.
The purse belonged to 1955 graduate Martha Ina Ingham, who is now in her early 80s.
She now lives out of the state, but a district spokesperson says her family saw social media posts about the find and contacted them.
