Shockey mad at Giants: Jeremy Shockey does not sound like a happy camper. And the disgruntled tight end might not make it to the Giants' minicamp on Wednesday, reports the New York Daily News. Shockey also said his broken leg is "getting better." "Obviously I am not 100%. And if I do show up to minicamp, it's going to be ... I wouldn't imagine me doing much, just getting treatment on my leg," he said.

"Unlike the Giants, I'm going to be quiet," he said. "They've released multiple things about myself and if you look back into the media, there's always a source. Well, I'd like to know who this source is and we'll go over here and we'll deal with it ourselves, because I haven't said one negative thing toward the Giants in the newspapers."

He says he is going to be quiet while discussing the issues with the media?

I hope he is traded - b/c for all his complaining, he's still an elite offensive talent - when he's on his game he is pretty much unstoppable. Get him the hell out of the NFC East

What the heck... let's give a third for him and team him up with Witten while Bennett learns the ropes. :p:

The Giants could have easily dumped Shockey(to the Saints or Hawks) for a HIGH 2nd rounder-with that pick, they would have had a wide range of choices from a TE-rich draft. Instead-they decided to get greedy and wanted Roman Harper(among their other good players) along with it.

Why do these GMs have to be so greedy? Is it ego?
