Ever since daks rookie year (and the playoff game against GB) I’ve always felt like at times he has slow starts. He sometimes struggles to get into a rhythm early in games. When he eventually does he’s as good as anyone.

I think last week was a good formula for dak. Drop back get ball out quickly to his receivers. He was making quick decisions.

short passes… and if nothing open he immediately went to run. I get it the d will eventually try to take it away. But you couple it with an efficient run game and a couple deep shots it would really be tough to stop.

You mean he should run the West Coast offense? We already do that. To most it was the up tempo. If he starts slow, then speed up the pace.

He did a good job of going deep when it was there. In order for the West Coast to be effective you have to go down field several times a game. Just like any offense.

yes agreed although I’m not sure we call it a west coast offense. I just don’t think at times we utilize it like we did last week and that was my point.

We have playmakers. Get the ball into their hands early. It opens Everything else up… including getting dak to be comfortable. Which we need come playoff time

Dak thrives in the spread, hurry up offense. Too many times Garrett and even to an extent Moore has tried to establish a fading Zeke and the run game and it has hurt the team.

Last week we saw the hurry up from the start and Dak was in synch from the start. I hope we see more of that. And certainly an effective run game is helpful.

Dak is comfortable when the Oline blocks. That is what we need more than anything.

Agreed but it’s def how we ran it last week. With kinda did what the pats used to do to teams… just kill them with short passes. And it works with this team cause you have the weapons to do it.

Even if teams comes up and start playing it… then you can hit them deep… dak can use his legs…. And you also have the run game that can work. I’m just saying I want to see more of that. Instead of these long developing routes dak has to sit in the pocket for.

obviously the Oline and him willing to run are keys as well

More to do with the defense. Teams have been begging us to run and throw underneath by playing a two deep safety look.
