Shotty wants to change the culture, but what does that really mean to you?

He has zero chance of accomplishing that. Shotty??? Give me a break.

How will he do this exactly in your eyes, what will be different, how did he actually convince Jerry that there's actually a culture problem with this team? What plan does one need to fix a problem that has plagued this team for years. He's going to have to wash out and reprogram a lot of these players that have been here for several years! Will it be easy, will there be some resistance?

Are all of his assistants on board and ready to take on this challenge. Do the players want the culture changed, or will we continue to see what we see with this team, and hear what we hear about this team from former players?? Interested in your thoughts, please give them!!
Not sure on a lot, but I do think Micah wants to WIN, and would be one willing to push for things that make the team better.

I am optimistic that at least Shotty seems to have more say in who his assistants are than usual and that should bode well for a new staff. Can Shotty change how Jerry coddles the players? Remains to be seen but i'm not holding my breath.

Schotty likely did a convicing pitch sale to the jones...much like Campo and gareet did.

' Then he convinced them how he intended to better "scheme " the offense , .. his concept and approach was gonna be different and better than McCarthy..

- what coaches he intended to bring in that would input such schemes into motion..and what/how the coaches would improve dak.and the offense,...what he could give this offense that McCarthy could not...did not...

- Its my guess work that as they did the last two DCs, that they again picked out and chose the Matt ebeflus DC hire...

Brand new coach, that the owner pretty much neutered infront of the world is gonna come in here and change something that's been here for 30 years. Yeah ok. Lmao. Don't be so gullible.

HOLD ON…..Jerry recently said there’s no culture problem.

How is he even allowing the latest puppet to say this?

Because he knows that’s what fans want to hear.

Absolutely nothing is going to change.

Winning cures things but man when losing starts to happen you see what was covered up by the wins
Remember the Eagles last year, running away with the division and down the stretch they couldn't beat anyone. Gave us the NFCE.

Jerry keeps his arse upstairs. No more California practices. Everyone held accountable. Give it your all-or give you the door...Simple...

To get this team focused on playing quality football and winning games. Nothing else should matter.

It’s meaningless rhetoric. If Schottenheimer can’t articulate what’s wrong with the “Cowboys culture” now, any suggestion he has a clue what to change is disingenuous. He’s afraid to speak up now, in Jerry’s shadow, with details of adverse issues he always will be. He should keep is lackey mouth shut until he’s actually prepared to confront players with what he deems unsatisfactory attitude and behavior on his team. The emphasis on “his team”.

to me it would mean taking their toys away and making them earn the privilege.

Means all the previous lip service to culture was just hogwash. Sounds great and makes everyone seem like they know what they’re doing. Doesn’t actually mean anything.

Jerry Jones in the back 40.

Hendershot's take has already been posted and I agree.

If Schott is serious he should have some real conversations about the walkway, the fan tours, landing helicopters during practice, and the whole circus environment Booger has spent 30 years building. Will he?

No.
