Should all QB's be red shirted?

This isn't really a joke. They almost have to go to this rule. Two hand touch at least?
It's certainly going in that direction. I wouldn't be surprised to watch a game in 2045 and sacking the QB consists of ripping a flag off their waist.

I'm fine with protecting the QB or any player. Not fine with absolutely clean hits getting flagged and changing the game just because they "looked bad".

Reset the NFL rules book to 1968 rules and let them play real football

Players have rights and make too much money to go back to 68'

Dont get me wrong, concussions and related damage is real and I value player safety, we are not Romans and they are not Gladiators, but apply that evenly , cleanly in a way that makes sense . DL getting chokeholds and getting kneecapped is as real as QBs getting slammed to the turf, these players understand the risks in the game and getting paid to play for that, so some acceptable risk is part of the profession. Invest in player safety , develop physics defying helmets , pads and other protective gear, after all no one ever thought there could be bulletproof vests ( Kevlar changed that ). Dont make it a joke ,one week you let the QBs smacked silly and next week , calls for penalties if sneezed upon . No integrity or uniformity in that.
